Rossi RS22, ProMag PM279 stock Update... Suppressed!!!!

The Amazon red dots are plenty for 22. I gave my dad an Amazon pinty red dot and cheap pic rail adapter for his RS22. He’s 78 and his eye sight is toast. After I sighted it in for him he was hitting a fist sized target at 50 yards. It almost brought a tear to my eye to watch dad having fun with his 22. He loved it!

I purchased this Stock for my RS22 and I also purchased two of the 25 round Magazines, which I found on Midway but they were $35 each but worth every penny! The Stock was $70 and the two mags were $70. Some shooters were having problems with those Mosberg magazines but they come with a small plastic loading device and once you load them a few times, they hold all 25 rounds and they are flawless!

The Mossberg 25 rd mag for the 702 really completes the tactical look with that pro mag stock...lol.

I just picked up the OD green stock and scope combo around December. It’s an slick little plinkster but all your upgrades to it makes it the ultimate tactical plinkster 🏆

This stock also fits the Citadel Trakr model. Allows it to take the mossberg 25 round mags. This is a great folding stick as it fits at least 4 22lr models and for the price point, it looks and feels great!

Just picked one up for $110. Put thirty rounds through it because I didn’t have much time. No jams or any hiccups. I did have clay pigeons set up at about 40 yards. Really consistent. Hits where I am aiming at 40 yards.

The ProMag stock is a nice upgrade. I just wish it would maintain the free-floating barrel like the factory stock. I’m sanding the barrel channel this weekend.

The barrel does seem to touch the one side of the Pro Mag but it does not seem to make a difference to me! It shoots just as well as it did with the original stock!

Got one for my ruger 10/22 but ended up taking it off an using the archangel 5.56 conversion kit that looks similar to an AR. I’ll save the folder for another 10/22 someday. Have you heard of the citadel trackr 22lr? Same makers as mossburg plinkster and Rossi 22lr. Magwell is different so harder to find extended mags for it unfortunately but they’re out there. Just not many as of yet. I may get this stock for the trackr since the mossburg 702 stock will work on it! Same exact internals as well

2 questions. Did this rs22 come from the factory with the threaded barrel already on it, or did you buy a non-threaded version and put this barrel on it. And if so, did the Promag stock fit the same on the threaded barrel version as it did on the non-threaded version. I heard of some guys having trouble with the threaded version. I don't how this stock is on a Rossi but I got the Savage 64 & 62 model and they look exactly the same. What I didn't like is I had to take the butt stock apart to get the gun out of the stock so I just took a drill and some grinding bits and bored out the butt stock. Now I can take the gun out of the stock without having to remove the butt stock. I also wish the butt stock would fold to the left cause it can get in the way when yah charge a round Good luck and enjoy

That’s crazy I have the same gun with the same setup just not suppressed and it’s shoots the cheap federal ammo great. That’s all I’ve really ever ran through it honestly.

get a Magpul RSA QD Rail Mount Quick Detach Sling Swivel Socket clone and attach it to side opposite side of the side of where the bolt is, then drill a hole in the lowest bottom of the butt stock, a twp point with clips mounts up perfectly, IMO single points are uncomfortable and beat you to hell , I use Aguilla 36 grain hyper velocity, dirty but no failures, try ammo seek
