IMO the best rendition of the barber of seville. I wish it was available on DVD or a streaming service! Mattei and Florez in their prime and Di Donato is excellent. Also love the tempi! All in all a perfect performance! 🤩👏

I agree with you, I have watched this rendition countless times, as it is such a masterpiece, amazing cast and the production is brilliant, too. It is available only as a stream, go to the official website of the Met and their on demand service (which is great btw, the catalogue is so huge). They recently even streamed this for free. I dearly love the version from the Royal Opera London as well (also Florez, DiDonato) - do you know that one? It is also brilliant and is available on bluray.
