As they reach their destination, the woman shows her children the old village where her ancestors once lived. She explains how they used to farm and hunt for their food, and how they would gather together for celebrations and ceremonies.

I am an Indian and astronished to see the hardship she faced along with her young and brave childrens. God bless them for their better life. We do also have few families in the Himalayan mountain and even if the government ask them to live near cities, they never like and continue their life in remote areas. They enjoy their life with good atmosphere with limited resources.

I feel ashamed living a better life and still complaining while these wonderful people are content with the little they have. Strangely I envy them not worrying about cellphone charges or Load shedding of electricity or a million other things. The Country is very rugged but very beautiful same time. I loved the colorful dresses especially the young daughter's is very beautiful. These Ladies still have respect for their bodies not wearing 'Jeans ' and provocative clothing. Впервые посмотрев видео о горных людях, задалась вопросом: - Как можно ходить по таким скалам без страховки? Позже появился вопрос: - Как можно из поколения в поколение ходить по одним и тем же тропам, (видно, что они хорошо натоптаны), и не скинуть лишние камни с тропы, не сделать какие-то лестницы, или выложить ступени из камня? Если они два раза в год проходят одним и тем же путем, давно уже можно было сделать этот путь более - менее удобным.

This family are like agile mountain goats. But my objection is the way the women and girls are treated like beasts of burden. After a few years of childbearing and hard work from dawn to dark the lovely brides are aged before their time while the men remain handsome and youthful. It is also a shame that the clothing is so impractical. I must say though the entire family seems very happy and oldest boy has a beautiful voice. May they all get a good education and have productive lives. Respect to this hard working and loving mother from America!
