Love the video, I'm stuck on the 3v3 G1 mission as well and love getting additional insights into team comps. Wanted to call out Helior as an option for the third team cleanse, his A3 throws all your debuffs onto the a member of the enemy team. Build him high RES and he can be an additional layer of protection. Hoping to see more content like this!

Thanks for the video. I am now subscribed and I will be following this series because I am in S4 trying to get to G1; as is a clanmate of mine. The issue we have is that we don't have Nekhret, Hegi, Duchess, Prince Kymar or any champions on that level. This is a desperately needed series and I'm very thankful you are tackling it.

Would be interesting to see the roster alongside a page of opponents with a commentary of what teams from the roster you would play against each opponent and which opponents you would skip, a bit like your Gold 4 TTA reset videos, would also then probably be more than 3-4 teams

This was such a good video I'm in gold 4 tag but it was still super interesting to hear how you look at champs and teams. As a side note Saph informed me the duchess thing is wrong about her passive only effecting people behind her in the turn order unless there is an ally protect in there that is where things change.

That's how I understand it as well. Duchess just reduces the dmg from aoe attacks with no other trigger for it, so it should just always work if she is alive. Krisk passive for example triggers, when he is hit, so everyone after him in the team order will profit from the enemy being debuffed when the dmg for them is calculated. Norog would be another example for the passive just working regardless of the team order. In fact, duchess being late in team order should profit her passive in case she dies from an aoe attack. Then everyone after her will not profit from her passive, since she is already down, when they get the dmg calculated against them.

Great content, both of you thank you! You may do the next one with my roster, I'm struggling between Silver II and (very rarely) IV. My current teams are Arbi, Basher, Lydia, Genbo/ Duchess, Mithralia, Magnarr, Sandlashed and either one of the following: Gorgorab, Kimi, Madame, Yannica or (more recent, still in development) second (slow stoneskin), Vogoth, Haakorn and Mortu (also stoneskin). I think my problem lies in the gear and also in team reading...

Sandlashed, Vogoth, Mithrala and Mortu would also be a good setup. i'am running a Arbi, Kimi, Madame/basher + nuker. and for the last team i guss Duchess, Lydia, UDK and Magnaar.

Under the Protection category maybe Goffred Brassclad can fit in there as well, because of his passive? He is used now in Platinum arena by many. And also Soulless under Nukers.

Goffred is a good protection champion yes - as you say he is used as such in Plat arena (and I also have built him as a protection champion myself). Soulless is also a great Nuker, once of the best DEF based nukers

Imho you missed my favorite cleanser: Helior. He won't work against provoke, but Tormins and Hegemons... shouldn't be an issue. He's not a Mithrala but i really like his kit. You build him naturally with high def and resistance, his shield doesn't really play well with his passive because he has some damage mitigation taking 20% from champs with 2 or more debuffs so low crit dmg is better and his shield is damage based... but as a cleanser he's great.

Her damage tails off - particularly her A1. And she doesn’t bring any utility besides damage. Fantastic mid-game nuker but tails off towards the end-game

i would go T1- arb, hege, kymar, hurndig, T2- duchess, mithrala, nekret and vlad who is an atk nuker that wasn't mentioned, T3 ragash, tatura, ukko, UDK

T1 becomes easily countered by a go-second Mithrala team. Agree Vlad could have been used (we did mention we had overlooked him at the end!). Your teams would work well on offense for sure

Only had free void lego, lydia, arbiter, visix and ramantu (jingwon, wurlim and annie are my pulls sadly) im at gold III 3v3. Maybe in the end end arena (plat and gold iv 3v3, champions will be def a factor..but at gold IIi TTA and gold v in classic, i used kael as one of my nuker to flex .

Question Eharbad. I don't know if this would be something you're interested in, but I do want some help with my account. I've invested massive time on PVE & grinding playing this like I would old RPG Games, but realized some months back how Raid was really working. Im at a point where I need to build a Hydra Team & need more help with my Arena & Faction Progression. I've only completed 2 of the 14 factions which is sad for a level 92, but like I said I would just grind PVE & would ignore Arena because I didn't like it until I finally began to pull fantastic champs & now I sit In Gold 5. Please contact me when you have time, I'd enjoy working out something with you as your content is just hands down so amazing & I truly appreciate this for Raiders of all styles. I'm beginning to stray away from P2P & to low spend or F2P entirely. Cheers

The focus was on picking teams that would work well for your defense and be consistent in offense (including fighting Stoneskin). Blender is easy to counter so a bad defense, and risky on offense due to stoneskin

The real problem with 3v3 (and arena in general) is that this game is heavily timegated, doesnt have catchup mechanics and ontop is p2w. These 3 factors in combination makes PvP a nonfactor for anybody starting out 2022, its very straight forward 4years accounts > 3 years Accounts > 2 years Accounts > 1 years Accounts > starting now. Its bad and will only become worse day by day. It absolutely will lead to the death of the game rather sooner then later, I think the recent prices increase and Soulstone prices are a clear indication that the game doesnt attract whales anymore. The PvP update for 2023 is of utmost importans for the longgevity of the game. Easiest of all fixes would be making brackets depending on your Account creation time - something which is the norm for most good champion collector games without catchup mechanic. Nice collab nonetheless, hope arena gonna more interesting

Paying to win is the catch up mechanic lmao. All the problems you listed have been around since 3v3 launched. Literally nothing has changed, it won't kill the game. Someone has to make a better dark fantasy gacha for raid to really die.

@@pestyoverlord 1 year of f2p playing equals like spending 50.000$, thats not a catch up by any means, specially if you consider most OP stuff being still timegated. Introducing 7* items would be. The things i have said can't have been like that at all because it is dependend upon time passing. I have been playing Raid first time in the Beta and for its first Year - Arena wasn't hard at all. Tbh it was really easy. Now its reversed and its easy to see why plarium needs to change PvP pretty drastically. I guess you are neither a whale, fresh player or have played similar games extensively, otherwise its really easy to see the systemic problem with Raid PvP.
