The instrumentals of this band are awesome. I wish they actually sang like older bands such as Judas Priest, Maiden, or Sabbath. I just can't get into the vocals of Death Metal or Metalcore or what have you. But like I said, the musicanship is incredible.

I highly doubt traditional heavy metal vocals would be at all appropriate for the majority of death metal. Hieronymus Bosch's music isn't as aggressive as, for example, Dying Fetus', but the fact remains that you really couldn't sing over this without it sounding out of place.

I never got a notification for this comment. Whatever. I've found myself here by accident so I may as well reply. It's not a question of disliking clean singing, it's a question of clean vocals not meshing well with extreme metal. The point I was getting at three years ago (!) was that I think there's a reason why you don't often see extreme metal music paired exclusively with clean singing. We can speculate about all the possible reasons for that (like vocal melodies struggling to find a place in music that is often lacking in melody, for example) but the fact is that people just don't do it. I'm sure ThePinkFloyder does know what he likes, and I'm sure he did tell me at the time, but that's irrelevant. Death metal has death metal vocals. I may well prefer Mongolian throat singing or whatever the fuck to rapping, but that doesn't mean they'd sound right in hip hop. I wasn't telling him he was wrong for liking what he likes, I was (I imagine) trying to offer an explanation for why he can't find what he wants.

ok, so instead of dislking clean singing, you dislike artists going their own way. and want them to conform to the usual stereotypes/cliches, because you think there is something wrong with being different. there's actually a ton of people like ThePinkFloyder who love the instrumentation of extreme metal, and would be big fans if they had a choice of vocals. you're limited imagination telling you that it doesn't mix is highly erroneous. TONS of extreme metal bands employ clean vocals.
