Very nice fish which will stand out in ponds even if the water turns a bit green. It's a bonus when they learn that ramshorn snails can be eaten. My first batch of these barbs wouldn't allow the snails to grow a population in the enclosures they were kept in.

Then 6 am Loui they had not damaged and both was looking young and healthy... However Douie still alive is look funny refuse eat some time go up gasping like don't breath sometime swim.. some come see me stay swim and look other time hide ...look like bipolar ...was wrong? Anyone knows??

What types of barbs. I find barbs do better in bigger groups of at least 8-9. Then they don't fight as much for dominance and they feel more secure The swimming you describe sounds like a swim bladder problem. You should salt the aquarium.. Take a everyone off food I hope things work out
