Thank you so much for the staking demonstration, Rosie. I am the woman who asked for some guidance on staking tall perennials a few weeks ago, and you kindly said that you would help, and you followed through! Thank you. You are very kind! I am in Australia with winter nearly finished. I have a clump of penstemon that already began flowering and the flowering stems fell on an angle as we had heavy winds for several days. I draped fine netting over them for those few days to filter the wind, but it looked awful. I removed it once the wind died back. I am going to try the technique you have shown here. As the clump of penstemon is around 1 square metre, should I divide the area up and create four or so staked smaller clumps, or just stake around the one large clump as you have shown? I have plenty of bamboo canes. Thanks again!

I got a Hydranger cutting to root in water. I bought Diascia Hopleys thanks to your recommendation.
