Thank you for this video. I bought a lift with the same model number and I've been trying to figure out the orientation of those Springs over there by the locks. I was able to see what I needed to see towards the end of the video. Thank you

I have one but one side the cable is broke and the big pin doesn't come off any ideas i drilled the pin for the pully 5/16 put a threaded bolt to try to pull it out

I would be glad to help but I need to know which pully/ sheave ? the ones in the column OR the four underneath the ramp? If it is the ones in the column, you do not need to remove the sheaves, the cables thread underneath with plenty of clearance. Well it looks as if there's crown breaks on that right hand post. And even if it isn't I'd be willing to bet if you put a rope gauge on it you'll find that it's undersized due to the the rouge on those strands. When that inner core gets dry it no longer lubricates the rope.

I did put a gauge/ caliper on the cables and they were to specs, but thanks for the reply.

Rooster, just to let you know, these cables are/ were "PVC" coated, and although the PVC has worn out , the MOST important issue is "they are NOT FRAYED" and DO NOT need to be replaced at the time of repair. Not sure if you are in the repair industry but you are TOTALLY WRONG about replacement whether in the repair industry or not. ****If cables are NOT FRAYED AND NOT "UNDERSIZED BY USING A CALIPER" there is no reason to replace them. Maybe you noticed the PVC peeling or shedding but that is common with 4-post lifts even if installed indoors. This repair has nothing to do with cable replacement and did NOT cause the failure of the safety lock. ****I would like to know how you came to your assessment that they (the cables) need to be replaced? If you think they need to be replaced just because of the color, they ARE NOT RUSTED! and totally flexible. This is a common issue on 4-post lifts when installed outdoors. Ten4 bud. Like I said rope gauge... And FYI since you are in the repair business, did you know that the recommendation on these ropes are every 5 to 10 years based on the bend ratio from the sheave diameter to rope size? Not trying to be a jerk but you kinda come off like one. I've seen these ropes break on several types of lifts, we probably have a 500 of them, and since there's a human being under that lift we don't play around with ragged ropes. yes rust and rouge are two different things, from my phone video it kinda looks like rouge, but I'd agree if you mic'd them and they're not undersized yet then they don't need replacing. They look like hell though
