I appreciate it. I fixed the Kobo book and thought the Apple iBooks one was fixed but I guess it’s still has the older copy. I’ll work to get it updated. Thanks for the feedback!

So I've aearched around for a POH but no luck. How does the actual in-cockpit collective control (not the mxing or theory but the actual control stick) on a twin rotor such as the Chinook work? How is the pilot able to lift the front independently and set the rear on a ledge?

Slightly different rigging in the flight controls. But the collective in a CH-46/47 style helicopter works similarly by increasing pitch collectively across both rotor disks. It’s referred to as “thrust” instead of collective in this configuration. The big difference is in the cyclic and pedals. Forward cyclic increases pitch in the rear disk and vice versa for aft cyclic. Pedals would increase pitch on say the right side of the forward disk and left side of the aft disk to have a left pedal turn /yaw control. Vice versa for right pedal.
