Contact Buckstop if you need touch up paint for the scraped off part adjacent the hub that shows when you swap front and back. They sent me some for my rig. Also you hopefully have your spare in the rotation.

Thank you for the suggestion and I will ask Buckstop. No, I didn't put the spare in rotation so I will have to do that next time. Thanks for watching!

That’s a real job changing those tires Brother! It’s great that you have found a shop that can service you! Maintenance is very important on any vehicle, especially one that size!

Are you able run dual tires on the back, I’m thinking of a road trip truck like this but some of the roads I’m gonna be hitting are 75 to 80 mph. Would it be safe to run those tires that fast?

I can't imagine having to change a flat tire on the road with the family, essentially by yourself.

How are you liking the Centramatic Wheel Balancers? Did the truck stop shaking after you put those on?
@KruseandViews3 жыл бұрын
100% Approve the Centramatic wheel balancers my friend. They have made a tremendous difference and I highly recommend them.

How do those tire wear for you? How many miles you got on them?
@KruseandViews3 жыл бұрын
So are they are wearing good... no cupping or other issues. I have 7,500 miles on them

You mentioned Buckstop makes the best wheels. What makes these better than DBL or Hutchinson?
@KruseandViews3 жыл бұрын
First off, it's my opinion. Secondly, Buckstop manufactures a single piece steel wheel that requires no extra bolt flanges, no wheel spacers, and no additional bolts. It is a simple, effective option for the Single Wheel Conversion. The wheels can be installed dished in or dished out and “flip” from front to rear. Tires can easily be rotated front to rear for even wear without dismounting the tire from the rim. ZERO FAILURES - Not all wheels are built the same - Buckstop steel wheels have been in the field over 20 years with ZERO failures. Steel is the most common material for wheel construction and is standard issue on your Ford or Ram truck. Buckstop wheels are built on a custom rim hoop that is derived from an earthmover wheel rated at 14,000lb weight capacity. Proper construction design, weld technique, and material selection ensure wheel strength and longevity.

Are you able to air down your tires if you are in sand without any issues? I was told by DBL that if you do not have a Bead lock then running on flat tires is not an option? What do you think? Thank you
@petedeiwert37823 жыл бұрын
I appreciate the response. I went with the DBL 3 piece as airing down seems to be a concern with the one piece. Regardless it does seem Buckstop makes a great wheel. Thanks for putting out some content on these super singles. I have a feeling they are going to get popular quick

I am ordering a host mammoth on a f550 with MPT 81 tires. My question is how tall is the camper on your truck? Any issues with clearances or electrical wires or anything? Do you have an app that tells you the heights of bridges? Thank you
@adamashton78103 жыл бұрын
If those tyres arent rotatational they should have been swapped side for side so the lug wears on the opposite side
@ranger693x3 жыл бұрын
What speeds are you capable of with those MPT 81's? I read where they are speed rated for like 60 some mph. Thanks for everything your doing and keep up the good work. Truck looks awesome!
@petervanags3 жыл бұрын
My MPT81s are happiest on the highway at around 65MPH. 18000 GVW or so.
