Sir I have a doubt.... You said jb rotating molecule ki frequency EMR ki frequency se match kr jaegi.... Molecule higher energy state m chla jaega. But here EMR ke molecule pr padne se phle vo kese aur kyu rotate krega? Mere college ke professor ne btaya tha ki jb EMR molecule pr padta hai tb vo rotate krta hai. But here...if molecule is rotating before the collision of EMR to it...what is causing that rotation?

Mr , dipole moment is a vector quantity and is equal to cross product of charge and distance between charges which is further equal to rqSinα because on rotation the molecules their α continuesly changing that's why it's dipole moment is changing.....

Sir in an EMW both electric and magnetic fields are present and in case of nmr we talk about magnetic field and here you are talking about the interaction of the molecule with the electric field..My question is sir why the magnetic field is not coming into the place of interaction because both electric and magnetic fields are present simultaneously here so.both should interact ..why only we consider about the electric field?please explain it sir.
