Nice job and very nice equipment.A spreader bar would have been nice on this job👌Can't wait till a Century M-100 is out doing heavy duty towing.
@raymondschrock7064 жыл бұрын
M-100 doesn't have an under reach so no towing for it

as a fork lift driver i was loading a trailor with firebricks and lifted the back end into the air....me, fork lift and bricks were left piled up in the front with the back of the trialor wheels 10 feet off the floor........

Great job as always. What it costs them every time you all have to lift trailers up they could up grade the lot. Enjoy your videos. Stay safe and God bless👍😀.

It seems that more leverage and easier lifting could be accomplished by hooking as close as possible to the front of the trailer. That should have lightened the lift. IMHO
@michaelseverson98094 жыл бұрын
JERRY JAMES you don’t loose a lot picking at the front but with multiple chains we needed to be behind the pin so the truck could get in and hook
@randytravis39984 жыл бұрын
@@michaelseverson9809 at least you did not have to unload the load to lift it .. job well done ..

Well of coarse those tires are squatting. If the boom was 93% capacity at 40k plus. Thats at least a tandem tractor load

1:20 nice seatbelt 😝 and this video answered my question of why the rotator wasn’t in your yard when I drove by on the way to the dump not like I need to know where it is at all times I just haven’t seen it in person and was hoping it would have been there to see the beauty
@DependableAutoTruck3 жыл бұрын
i really enjoy your videos have watched most all of them i also watch Ron Pratt major difference in the way he uses his rotator and he will never leave hard pack only seen one where he left hard pack. also he never lets his wire rope touch any part of the lift. i personally dont see the problem

That trailer definitely needs at least a two drive axle tractor under it, that was a heavy load.

When doing a lift that rotator needs to be 100% off the ground. Its 70k counter weight. Miller will tell u that. Also its a miller you don't have to idle it up for extra hydraulic pressure. Miller will tell u that also. Get the truck air born and itll handle alot more than that light 36k. Ive lifted 56k off the side of mine before
@CountryEquipmentRentals3 жыл бұрын
Yes we learned that! Thank you 👍🏻 we’ve lifted close to that, not quite that much though
@tylertucker44783 жыл бұрын
@@CountryEquipmentRentals i highly suggest millers rotator school if you haven't been. It's neat and teaches even seasoned operators like me how to use the rotator to its full capability and you get to tour the factory where they build all the wreckers if extremely fun

We’ve been to rotator school and classes but not miller’s. That would be fun!

If you guys were showing 42,000 lbs just lifting the nose, I have to wonder what the total weight of the trailer was which was definitely pushing the limits of that tractor.
@tiredoldmechanic17914 жыл бұрын
42,000 pounds on a single axle tractor?
@michaelseverson98094 жыл бұрын
That is all they had on scene. Their 4axle truck with. Pto is coming to hook to the trailers hydraulics to push the load back before it moves any further

Learned a bit on that job.. and surprised passenger not required to wear a seat belt in the rotator.

the heavy loads that sink are not fun ,,, just helped a buddy load a 16 ft truck box body ... loaded with lumber ,, that was heavy lots of blocking ,,, took 2 fork lifts to unload it ...

Why dont you use a spreader bar ?? to protect your cables and in order to prevent that the trailer implodes

I find it strange that PPE (personal protective equipment) is not used in your job, mandatory in the UK.
@michaelrobbins66944 жыл бұрын
People. Working on thier own over 6' away shouldn't need PPE. I run a lawn mower for 4 hours a day and never talk to anyone during that time. Wearing a mask risks my health during that time. Great question...
