I echo everyone’s comments. I really appreciate the thorough review especially when one can’t go to a store to inspect them. Thank you for a thorough review! I've been curious about these since I first saw the ads for them. I love the look of the points and thought they would be cute, but since you can't try before you buy, I have hesitated. Also, the price is high for a simple flat. I wear heels to teach all day, and flats can be surprisingly difficult because my back ends up hurting. Since they are so flat with no arch support, they're probably not going to work. Too bad, because I like the concept.🙁 Thanks for all the info!💜

You're welcome! I do wish they had a little bit of a heel or some more support but going up in size and wearing an arch support did help me. It is hard to buy without being able to try on so I'm glad this helped!

I shouldnt have to "add" anything to a $150 pair of recycled water bottles. I wanted to love these but they just feel weird and scratchy, never fully fit right (ive tried 3 pairs) and have 0 cushion. I think I'm gonna bite the bullet on Tieks.

The rug looks cushy, but it doesn't really allow a clear view of how the shoes fit your feet. Maybe try a bare floor. Thanks for taking your time to share.

15:54 "...they dry out pretty quickly" I'm not sure I understand. Are you saying they actually dry out while you're wearing them or like if you lift your heels out a little bit when sitting down?
@Chicprofessor3 жыл бұрын
I’ve found that if I’m wearing them outside in the heat and then I go inside where it is cooler any sweat dries on it’s own while I’m wearing them! If I step in puddles or something while commuting I’ll often lift my heel out a bit while I’m sitting or kick them off under my desk for a bit and they tend to dry out pretty quickly that way. I hope that helps!

I only have a pair because a friend who makes a lot of money by even NYC standards ordered a pair that were too small on her even though she ordered a half size up. She passed them to me, and they are bar far my favorite pair of shoes. I would save up for a second pair next year (I mean what's the point during quarantine?) that's how much I love them. I can walk ten miles in them no problem (I don't need arch support so very flat is comfortable for me) and they machine wash beautifully, and when i'm in a rush I just clean them in the bath and by the next day they are dry.

Have you considered everlane shoes? I’m in the market for a comfortable pair of flats. I’m thinking of ordering a pair of rothys.
@Chicprofessor5 жыл бұрын
Ella N yes! I had the day heels and mules but I didn't love either and sold them. I tried the loafers and day glove flats as well. The loafers were fine but the day gloves were so thin. I didn't love how much you could see my toes in them, and didn't like how quickly they wore, and didn't find the cut as flattering on my feet. So the rothys were definitely a better choice for me.

Thanks for watching! Sure thing. I just bought them at CVS. If you have small feet the ones I got will work but I would not suggest them for anything over a 7. amzn.to/2YiRyyd those are the ones I got and the reason I don't suggest them for larger feet is these just fit my feet when it comes to the round part sitting at the top of my toes (they do not go the full length of the shoe) I imagine it would be uncomfortable if ti stopped mid way on the ball of the foot for larger sizes. These however, might work: amzn.to/2y5aqGa because it end before the ball of the feet. I do really like how minimal these are and they fit nicely in the shoes. I hope that helps!

My friend who makes a LOT more money than me ordered a half size up in the pointy style and they were too tight for her so she gave to me after a month or two of not returning them 😂 I normally wear a 7.5 and have narrow to medium feet, and full size up - 8.5 - fits me though is a little roomy, so I wash them pretty often.
