I'm so sick of people leaving Fungal Caverns and Crystal Caverns because they are too scared of dying. They are by far my favourite dungeon, so here's all you need to know about how to complete them without losing your epic characters.

You cant be calling this dungeon really easy while constantly getting hit by projectiles in the boss room lol. Sure with a good pet its fine but if not ur just constantly racking up more and more dmg.

Agrees, if i do this dungeon without insane endgame gear that like, 1%of the playerbase own and a divine pet i can't tank half of what he is tanking in this video without dying. But i guess this dungeon sure is easy when u know it well and have a 8/8 well equiped character with a legendary+ pet..

@@vincentbertrand2392 I disagree, I think that it is more like 95% of people DO have the endgame gear, and the reality is that everyone pretends it's easy to get this good at the game, but it takes so long to get good like everyone else.

While some things, especially how you say which shots to prioritize avoiding were helpfull in this guide, saying it's not hard isn't really right. YOu got hit plenty of times as well, you had amazing gear and a maxed legendary pet, a player with a max Rare pet would have not survived that battle if he would have been hit by the same amount of shots that you were hit by. A legendary pet heals about 2.5x times as much per second compared to a max rare pet. Unlike many other fights, this fight also leaves no pauses during the phases to recover. So if you get hit to much you will constantly be at low health if your pet can't keep up with the healing. I agree it's a fun dungeon and i wish more would attempt it too, but it definatly is hard.

Play para as solo. If you're having issues. That dung helped me a lot with dodge and stuff. And did my 10th fungal run in one day without any issues. Below 25 ppl

I dont really care how old this is. It's easy to say "just dodge the high damaging and hit the low damaging ones" when you have a maxed pet. Not everyone who wants to run endgame content has a max pet so that's why they tend to run in larger groups. Vital combat came out and made everything that much harder, cant tank the little shots without getting into vital combat, having your healing halved and your pet destroyed. At this point you're going to say get good and make backup characters to practice. I dont have character slots beyond 3 to make those throwaways to learn the endgame dungeons.

one pro tip is that half of the enemies (at least in fungal, dont know about crystal) move directly towards you. so void blade just completely destroys them. especially the worms. edit: im sad

people usually do that because they died once or twice in that dungeon, so they're afraid to go there again unless in a big group. this is the reason I avoided doing nests for so long, and did them only with discord raids. that was until my guildmate said "let's do nest" (our guild has only 5 people). I said "but there's only 5 of us", and he replied "so? we're all 8/8, we should be fine". turns out we were, and I was scared of nothing.

It's really not (ik im months late) but now with adaptive hp scaling you can easily do this solo (if your experienced) but even in a small group with good buffs it's really not that bad. Just research beforehand though, cuz I've lost a character to crystal cavern before ;-;

I don't consider myself near the endgame power-level, but even I and a couple of other ppl could do this dungeon, and I went in blind! I didn't even know what the boss was. Of course I nexus'd because I didn't know you had to stand towards the middle, but still, just by knowing that I am way more likely to do it when it pops up

so you're telling me, a free to play who cant even max a paladin, that the only thing i should not do in crystal caverns, a place with monsters that can stack shot by themselves, is not sit on the monsters . . . with range that can clear most of the small hallway and turn my TANK class to absolute mush no to mention the fact that the mobs tend to suddenly lunge with the shot amounts of a 100x barrel shotgun, how the hell can i not be scared of this hell hole?

tanky classes are not bad in fungal, and it's an end game dungeon, so you should only do it once you reach the end game (max a character and get gear)

You forgot to mention one big fact about 1st Boss, you have to drag him around. Just Standing in the middle dodging around aimlessly will get you killed real easy

A fair amount of your video is spent telling people what you're about to do and this is really not so productive for video length. The majority of the time people that are looking for guides that are quick and simple. Leave your intro at the beginning and create quick transitions for moving between subjects and I think alot of people will appreciate this. Other than that your video was very helpful and I appreciate you taking the time to make this for us :)

In a general way. Fungal isn't that hard, when you start to do a lot of fungals you learn important stuff about minions and that shit. The worm boss is much harder than crystal. But The both fights in general are easier than doing a mbc or void. Fungal is underrated and deservers more pp ;(
