RotMG - Hardmode Shatters Compilation

a lot of clips from my few days of experience with Hardmode™ Shatters™, primarily focusing on the new phases and/or altered existing phases, sadly not many clips from village due to the rng needed + waste of hard drive space with failed recordings
some editing liberty involved, few funnies, and some pure dodging clips, shoutouts to people who are able to do this for hours, i cant do that anymore lol
and yea this was kind of a lazy upload, no i will not solo the entirety of a hard mode shatters because im a baby and someone else can do it (maybe speedrun normal tho)

Again never cease to disappoint, good to see you've still got some skill thru rust (although imagine dying to normal shatts and not having a single death in hardmode yet). I await the day that i can do this as well, looks like a lot of fun. What's ur favorite part? Your least favorite?

favorite? dodging least favorite? dodging actual answers? maybe sure, extended patience with expose proves to be a harder challenge that i like as its subtle but can really mess you up (favorite) for archmage, fire apocalypse (4 fire gens) is the worst because rotmg square hitboxes, diagonal bullets, not gonna go well especially with instakill spams (firebombs) also whoever thought more respawning enemies was "hard" instead of tedious, ontop of having to escort all four flames, what kinda good stuff are you smoking and can i have it

It's nice that you can get guaranteed white bags from this mode. Too bad its a pain in the ass to do in small groups let alone soloing, I'd get tired of doing shatters after just 1 of these.

yeah, its pretty gruesome to even get a single attempt out of the multitude of keys needed for rng checks... to be honest, i mostly only did the hard mode shatters for the compilation of clips and dodging the new phases/attacks and such, getting a crown was a secondary goal. now that i have that, im probably not going to touch shatters outside of exalting kensei and the chest event.

sure was for a while, but once u do a lot, the required rng to get hard mode in the first place really starts building up and sucking which is pretty much why i haven't done much more

When did this mode come out? Are they only accessible from modified keys or are they separate? Sorry been out of the loop lol

this "hardmode" came out with the april fools update, accessible with any shatters key, but im unsure if the completed magi generator modifier would ruin it or not. basically to activate it, you have to find this void phantasm thing (25-50% chance of appearing) that has 5% opacity in the village, kill it, kill it again around the stone idol, then kill the stone idol. after that, kill sentinel as usual (more blobombs), pray you have an alchemy lab wing (44-50% to appear, 2 puzzle rooms means alchemy), escort ALL 4 flames to the generators, deal with archmage's 4 new phases even though you might only see 2, deal with a paralyzing bird, then make sure you lock 2 ice and 2 fire or king won't be hardmode. from there its just clear tablets with like 5x more enemies and most of them are accursed, king is normal up until after skull phase where you deal with shattered queen who doesnt hurt unless you're armor broken, and patience phase is changed to have expose ontop of sick, and lasts a tiny bit longer. in addition to these insane changes, as soon as you kill the stone idols, about half or more of the enemies in 2nd clear become accursed/respawning as well, every boss has a 2nd loot bag for more chance at white, archmage drops a guaranteed gemstone to one person in the bonus loot bag, and king will drop a guaranteed "chrysalis of eternity" to one person in the bonus loot bag as well. this chrysalis is basically crown 2.0, 120 hp 7 att and 7 dex ontop of 9% exp bonus, kinda busted and stupid that they added it also multiple people CAN get it as a drop, as it serves as a crown replacement (as long as it is hardmode) tl;dr april fools update allows any shatters to have hard mode as long as u meet multiple rng checks (waste of money and time)

this is one of the endgame dungeons in the game Realm of the Mad God, don't play it unless you're willing to sink tons of hours into minimal gain (or just to play with friends)
