RotMG - How to Max a Character Through Dungeon Farming (Beginner's Guide)

Here are my thoughts on how to max a character via dungeon farming, and which ones should be avoided. This is somewhat of a follow up to my old and slightly outdated "How to Max a Character" video.
*Seems I can't catch a break with my videos getting outdated. The Lost Halls has been changed to a state where I can say it is worth it for players to farm by hopping into various discords for it.

Well on the chance we don’t get a remake of this video let me say that the more recently made Ancient Ruins is now arguably one of if not THE best for pot farming as it can drop all pots excluding life and mana plus the chance for multiple treasure rooms, of which I’ve gotten three of at most so far. In my opinion it’s even slightly easier than a sewer or an abyss. I say SLIGHTLY cause if you’re a fresh level 20 it’s still dangerous.

To all new players: I personally used to struggle with Sprite Worlds a lot when I was a beginner. Undead Lairs, while a bit harder, I feel are very profitable loot wise, especially if you are a newer player. In addition, the many different enemy types in the UDL help to prepare you for different styles of enemy attacks. Just my two cents. Also, props to you Haze on mentioning the def dropped by Mad Lab.

Spirit World's from what I've seen are pretty easy as long as you don't get caught off guard by a native sprite god, but my problem is that Realm almost consistently crashes for me when fighting Limon taking me back to my character select page

I'm still pretty noobish and go in Pcave to get health when I run out before getting good stuff so leeches don't wait for me to kill stuff and run up and steal s**t from me. I've had more health stolen from me running around the beach or lvl 3 stuff than I could ever count. I know u 1337s don't have this problem but I do. :D But yea, first time I beat the pirate boss I was like WOOHOO, and couldn't wait to do it again. LOL

This is in my opinion your best guide nicely made and full of information. This is exactly what new players need because about a year ago when I had been playing for a while I had a level 20 character and I saw everyone else with maxed characters, I knew dungeons like abyss dropped def and vit but I knew I couldn't do them so I was stuck in godlands until I finally tried a abyss and died then started over. Then I found out about sprites snakes and that UDLs were possible when I started to slowly max a character then I entered a abyss and I was fine then sooner or later I was 6/8 and I did tombs and trenches and I was 8/8. I just want to say for beginners, after you max attack speed dex and def, join the Lhz discord or the public halls discord, and you can make an insane amount of profit through running halls on a 4/8 character. Just bring a Dbow archer or a necromancer/wizard and you will get around 2 life every halls. Halls are considered to be hard, but when done properly and in a discord, they are not bad at all. Discord servers like shatters, fame trains, and edz also exist, giving players access to higher level dungeons and other things. Shatters discord is extremely helpful because all you have to do is follow what the leader is telling you what to do, and you most of the time dont really have to clear. Shatters are a very good source for top teir items and some really overpowered rings, so if you feel like you have a decent grasp of the game, I would recommend that you try this. EDZ also allows for easy event farming, so if you want the whites from the recent ice tomb event, you could use edz to get many of those as they clear them quickly and efficiently. Not many new players are able to join very active guilds who pop end game stuff often/are able to complete end game dungeons, so joining a discord that makes it far easier is very helpful.

1 block of cheese: 10% holes and 90% cheese 2 blocks of cheese: 10% holes and 90% cheese more cheese is indeed more holes but the cheese counters the holes by being bigger in % so if we have 5 blocks of cheese that means that it is 5 x 10% + 5 x 90% which is 50% holes and 450% cheese so in total 500% so in conclusion: if we take my example and say that a block of cheese is 1/10 holes and 9/10 is pure cheese. The amount of the cheese would always be 9 times more than the holes so that means your calculation is trash and confuses alot of people and i just wasted my time over a joke...

Ironically I typically use Cult to max life and mana. The pot drops there are just great and it's relatively easy (and quick if you have a good rush).

I know this is a really old video but it should have been mentioned that if you kill the Purple Sprite Gods in the Sprite Worlds (the same ones that spawn the sprite worlds in the over world) they have a chance at dropping ATK pots. So theoretically if you wanted to just grind sprite worlds you could max ATK, DEF, and DEX all without ever doing another dungeon. On top of the multiple white bag drops that it has it makes for probably the single best dungeon in the game for newer players to just grind out.

Farming LH is actually beneficial if you can do colo and get sb. It might take longer but aslong as you can do it youll be swimming in life and mana pots that you can trade for def.

Cave of 1k treasure actually has a possible pot drop for every enemy, not just mimics. Another thing worth mentioning is that the pots in every single room dont just drop godlands tier items. It is possible to get old tops and t10s from cyans (about 1 cyan is guaranteed if you solo and break every pot).

Ever since the new 2020 update the rare drops became more common. I started a new run as archer did pirate cave 1nce and got ring. Than 3 more times and got 2cmore rings. I did forest maze 2nd time got the quiver and bow. Than 3rd and 4th time I got the bow. So if ur starting as an archer. Just do pirate cave and forest maze of a bit. It’ll get u good starting gear that got me threw mad god. The bow shoots 3 100 dmg projectiles that penetrate threw enemy’s so if ur doing spider den or a bounty with minions that is a awesome go to. The quiver shoots 2 projectiles doing 140 dmg going threw walls and enemys. It’s affect is it will paralyze enemys for 2 seconds. So if ur on a boss or something that moves a lot shoot them with this quiver and there completely frozen. Edit: ur gonna have to switch soon cus I got lvl 20 and fame 300 with these items than I died

You can get Defense potions from ENT god and BEHOLDER from Godlands fairly easy, Attack potions from DEMON and SPRITE god, just go to a Server and Realm with a few people, reach GLands and farm away.

One thing I would add is that native sprite gods have a higher chance of dropping attack than glands, and popping a loot potion usually gives me roughly a 1 in 4 chance of getting atk.(once i got 5 in a row)

Life: Your health // Mana: Your mana // Attack: How much your weapon does // Dexterity: Rate of fire // Wisdom: Mana regeneration // Vitality: Health regeneration // Speed: Movement speed // Defence: Damage taken. Good places to get loot would just to farm your quests, then if someone calls a udl you can go in there with the people. That's at least how I start off a lot of my ppe's. All the event dungeons life deadwater docks give good loot, so stay behind and be careful. Hope this helps.

And you can farm some dungeons, go to realmeye to see prices of gear (Buying is the low end and selling is the high end), then go to usw2 to try and trade for the gear.

You're better doing nests over tombs for life because nests drop life more common sacrificing 2 more potential life however i'd say getting loot from a nest is probably 1/2 if you reach soulbound but if you are in a tomb unless you've maxed dex and att it will feel like you're getting no where so do nests or tombs if you're looking for the rings but nests aren't hard if you have atleast 6 people nests are quick if you have a reliable pally, warr, priest and maybe a QoT archer if you have one also both have trooms except you feel better getting a crossfire from beekeeper because shendyt you can just buy... maybe with the life you get from nests?

Ice cave is very easy with ranged classes if there is many players, like i went there with my level 14 priest, i didn't got loot, but if you dodge all the atacks from the yetis it will be a easy dungeon

When I do Sprites solo, I always disconnect. It’s annoying. Same with cdepths. Even if I’m with a party of people, I always get load error and go back to character selection at son of Arachna, and I just can’t get mana. Same with OT. I don’t understand why it happens, but I can’t do these dungeons and it sucks
