Letting people max 8/8 faster is such a welcome change. Makes it easier for newer players, and makes the game less tedious for players that have maxed thousands of characters already. Literally a win win

@@TrollPotter Not at all though. The issue with this is that it quickly makes easier content irrelevant. Dungeons like Abyss won't be a challenge at all anymore if you are already halfway maxed at level 20. Why would I bother farming these easier dungeons if I can just jump into exaltation dungeons. It is 100% going to throw things out of balance, just like item forge did

Honestly while it is great, I'm gonna miss the bigger incentive to do midgame dungeons alongside others in a similiar situation. Why go mid/lategame for maxing if you can just do endgame and then go after items or whatever in lesser dungeons

I actually want to know their logic behind removing the EYEBALL enemy as a source of introduction of blindness to the player... oh right, they are already doing that with contrast spam, instead of legible spritework. Looks nice, plays weird, compares poorly on a functional level. Severely hope they make a game for themselves with the new realms because it's been super touchy even at the best of times despite their massive amount of content additions.

I ended up making a suggestion on the RotMG discord to add a notebook of sorts that would fill out with enemy info as you kill them and see them drop items/dungeons. It would probably be a lot of work but having all the relevant information in one place in game and being able to do a reverse lookup of what enemies drop a pot/dungeon would be massively helpful. I always love it when games provide information so you don't have to use outside resources constantly

It is really interesting to note that most of the new bosses drop old whites, and even the ones that have a new drop. I got a jugg from lich king earlier, meaning lich king has 2 whites.

I can confirm that the angry red skull guy in the risen hell biome does in fact spawn shaitans, but is pretty rare to due so.

I’ve noticed that old realm events consistently spawn in certain biomes? I’ve only ever seen Lotll and Kogbold Train in Runic Tundra for example, and Hermits in the water biome in the bottom right.

​@@RotmgGHZD something respawns old events in the same spot. Either it's time based or killing enemies within the biome, we target farmed skull shrine in the hell biome and I'm assuming the same works for cube God in sprite forest and pentaract. Maybe 8 skull shrines in 5-10 minutes

10:35 the tiny djinn guy dropped a tcave so that basically guarentees that the djinn drops it also

I've gotten a life potion from the bird looking enemy in the sanguine forest. So I would lean towards the life/mana drops being every enemy in the biome, just at a very small rate.

I got a red bag from the crystal worm event with a t6 ring and a life pot, and my brain promptly exploded lmfao. Even legacy events aren't free from changes. Also, for what it's worth, my friend managed to get a jug from the oyster, so pumpkin isn't the only thing dropping preexisting event whites.

I got just got a white bag from the sword in the stone mini boss, gave me the "Cavalry Lance". The description of the item the following "This item is temporarily disabled for the open beta, sorry for any inconvince" All it does is shooting one title of a shot doing around 300dmg and stun for around 3.5sec. Not sure what to do with it.

Hey GHZD! me and some buddies went and farmed the higher areas for a while. We've found that life/mana drops from ALL yes ALL the enemies in the "veteran biomes" but they drop at a lower rate per enemy vs other potions.

Amazing video, I've really enjoyed it. I've also heard that they're going to remove the fog of war, so I guess they've meant the whole map is going to be already visible, instead of being pitch-black, but I'm not sure if that's truth though, might be just some rumours.

They do plan to remove the fog of war in the realms at some point (hopefully soon) but revealing the whole map is just a rumour although a lot of people are asking for something like that to be added!

might be the nail in the coffin for me. i liked the old realm! i could’ve done with just the addition of beacons and maybe bigger versions of the layouts to accommodate them. it’s just a different game now, and i liked old dumpy wildshadow designed realms, warts and 15 ghost kings and all. plus, the new one is sooooo ugly! deca’s artstyle was neat in mountain temple but it’s just gotten more and more oversaturated and noisy over the years. i hope it brings in and retains new players but i think i’m done for. it’s great to have one of the OGs ushering it in though! feels poetic

That would be really cool but as far as I'm aware there isn't any way to gain exaltations directly from the realms. Gleff may have meant that it's a lot easier to find the dungeons that give exaltations however!

how sure are you about which enemies in each biome? A dungeon drop is obvious but an enemy could be dragged from 1 biome to another so keep that in mind when logging them on your infographic.

It's a valid point, getting the enemies right was tricky at first. But with a large enough sample size and hours of playing in each biome. I'm 100% confident that what I've got is accurate.

The weirdest thing with dungeons before, is that the enemy(ies) you fought didn't have any gameplay preparation/correlation so that you felt confident going in, becuase if you ever did feel confident going into an unknown dungeon you'd just die, which is a core failing of rotmg for a long time. And for those that disagree, attempt to make a friend and have them try the game, and see how quickly they lose interest when they realize they can't play a bullet hell, and the rpg elements are heavily misguiding (thanks Kabam for that one).

Not directly, but the dungeons that give exaltations drop from a lot of the events in the harder tiered zones. (A lot more frequent than old realms)

Yes they do! I didn't go too much into that because when I made this video I was unsure where they spawned. Cube gods apparently seem to spawn in sprite forests etc. I need more confirmation before adding them to the infographic however!

I leveled 3 characters to level 20 a few days ago, they don't profit from the change that one needs less pots to max now, or? So it would be best to kill them and just level a new level 20, or?

Unfortunately not my man, nothing has changed with how many stats characters have just how many you gain every time you level. So all your older characters will still take a lot more pots

Definitely best to kill them. I actually had a heap of fun leveling to 20 on some chars. It's nowhere near as tedious as old realms!!

I at least know all of the dungeon drop in Sprite biome, since ive been grinding there for ages 😂: Big pink sprite = sprite world Small pink sprite = snake pit Black Sprite = Pup Dark green sprite = sew Light green sprite = Mwoods Red sprite = abby Blue sprite = Mlab
