This is like the trucks I remember here in the Uk as a kid way back in the 70's. They were made by Glover Webb & Liversedge, or by Swedish firm Norba. They seemed to be able to eat anything on the menu as well. One turned up in a scrapyard not far from me recently, an ex-Brighton Corporation one I think. Can only hope someone saves it !

It would be cool if there could be a version of it made for more bulky waste such as dryers, for example a bigger auger and a hydraulic side panel that pushes stuff into the hopper.

Samuel Underwood - Thanks for your question! The occasional TV box would be OK as long as there are other items thrown on top to weigh them down. A steady diet of boxes would be better suited for a rear loader.
