The second and third bends are both right angle bends. That end bit can be bent at a right angle across the other part in a right handed helix so the other part will block to motor from twisting itself off the end of the hook. It must extend a bit past the crossed wire. It must come out of the plane of the first sections enough to leave a gap for the O-ring. Bending short pieces of wire is easier if you push it with a small block of wood. I use a circular helix, but the diamond may center the motor better.

Yes, second bend is 90 degrees. I said correctly initially in the video and then misspoke and said 135 degrees while I was bending.
