Have you tested the no flip option? I would assume it levels and increased altitude regardless of orientation. I wonder if that would be safer vs easier to recover from, something about auto-flip on a bigger heli raises a red flag in my mind. 😂😅😅 Thanks for posting on this feature especially in previous videos where you demonstrated the functionality live. Very cool to see and I'm sure for new adopters like myself adds some reassurance seeing it happen.

I've used the rescue a few times to give me some breathing room to collect my orientation thoughts and bring the craft back to me. Never had to do it in an oh crap pinch before. All I have is default settings and auto-flip first. I'm not really willing to test how quick it is nor have I even gone inverted on my Venom yet. I've got 50 flights on my machine and other than some orientation assistance I've really had no close calls. Would you be willing to demonstrate the feature and if not I understand, possibly maybe give some commentary/tips on how fast it reacts with your settings and get you out of a real scrape? My fear is the vanilla settings and auto-flip are going to be too slow in a bad pinch, I want the thing to just snap with all haste and then a couple seconds of altitude gain. Not sure if the default is enough for that.

Diego did a demo in his backyard a month or two ago, have a look in his channel videos. I'm about to go test this out on my m4 max having seen it work and what settings he has it set at. Such a simple demonstration alleviates the bulk of my nerves around it, It's also nice that you can set it to flip or not in the settings.

@@corionisme Oh yes, now I remember, I re-watched just now. So it first attempts altitude and second to that, it flips. Thanks!
