Well can someone help me , i just started after effects and i wanted to roto one of my video ive captured with an clean white background its just 15 seconds video but after effects is taking like whole day and in rotoing just 4 seconds and then its stuck and keep on redering, I'm so pissed of this. Can someone help me with any tips of how to roto clean as a beginner without spending whole day just rotoing a 15 sec clip?

Your pc might be struggling because your quality is set to full. just change it to the lowest and it will do the job much quicker

If you just need to adjust curves, use the curves ecfect instead of lumetri. Lumetri is significantly more render intensive.

You will remove the effect when you finish with rotoscoping so it's not a big deal.

That is probably 2023, yes. But to get freeze option make sure your view mode is in "Roto Brush & Refine Edge". The view mode is simply beside the render and freeze option. You can see that around 2:50

No hate man, but that first rotoscope wasn't really clean, the edges were very wavy and the top right of Drake's head still got cut off in the middle. What can we do to get smoother edges in a situation like this?
