Misty in Roots are the first Reggae band I experienced: at a Rock Against Racism festival 1979 in Frankfurt. That was a turning point in my life. I shall be thankful for that encounter for the rest of my life.

My journey of awakening started in the late 60's. Rude awakening 1976, and yes the words of truth came from ruffians, and continued with great leader of lyrics. I'm Honored to see from the age of 16 to now in which 70 is near, when it's said the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, being American born, West Indian decent, from the mouths of my originals, Jah Rastafari, some are the branch, some are the leaf 🌿, I and I are the Root. Now if that's not clear enough I say to those ask someone, maybe they'll tell the truth. I'll never discard the people, but I'm not waiting for anyone to catch up. My revenge is not to become the enemy. Tears of joy only 😅😢

Once had a couple albums of theirs.. one was called I believe, Food, Clothes and Shelter. And the other, Mosi+a-Tunye. Which meant Smoke on the Water 💦, referring to the indigenous name for Victoria Falls. Between Zimbabwe and Zambia. The largest Waterfall in the World 🌍 in terms of volume of 💧. One can see the Mist from Miles away. I had the privilege of seeing it hearing it and Canoeing down the mighty Zambezi River for two weeks. Will always love Misty in Roots. Rastafari Tucson Arizona Sonoran Desert 🌵 Africa 🍄🇪🇹🇪🇹🍄🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🍄🌹🍄🧬🍄⚡🍄
