The tile brush head is designed for low pressure tile cleaning. The advantage to the 360i tile and grout brush head is the brushes break surface soil tension better than just water pressure alone when working with a 500 psi portable for example. The inventor of the Th-40 also uses a 360i Tile and grout brush head in conjunction with his other equipment.

One of the things to consider here in your test is dwell time for the chemistry to work. The small difference between your first pass and the the next time you tested the rotovac was noticeably different. If you have a truck mount that produces high enough pressure, the dwell time for chemistry is less important. But from your video you can tell there wasn't that much difference in dwell time stop. This is a commercial sheet VCT product you're cleaning as used in doctors offices and hospitals. It has a very slight pebbled texture but microporosity still exists in the surface. These floors are typically waxed and the use of a rotovac brush head wood agitate Coatings for removal after pre spraying the surface with wax stripper in your case you were not removing any coatings just mop water residue typical daily dirt. Rotovac is able to deliver agitation with extraction the turbo delivers pressure-based removal where agitation may not be needed I have used both message over 35 years in each job you encounter may need a different approach. It's best to always be prepared with the tools that will do the job you encounter. Because more time spent is income lost.

I understand what you're trying to say but it's simply impossible for the brush to get inside the small pores in that flooring I have over 20 years of experience in the field. The turbo Hydra bread simply put blows it out of the water in this no drink the dwell time from the rotovac would have made a difference the turbo out cleans in this case Having an arsehole tools helps you doesn't it? I like my 360 I I just don't find it to be a good floor cleaning tool it's my choice

@@carpetcleaningprofessor so you liked my video I haven't seen that one in a while.. I don't usually strip very much wax off of VCT mostly Saltillo and wax that's been applied to travertine or ceramic tile. And I always use the turbo hybrid unless is a gross build up that needs agitating first. We all need to remember that wax layers were applied one by one and the removed by multiplication from the top down which takes a while depending on how many layers were applied and how resistant the polymer e is to the stripper being used. That was a back kitchen in a restaurant here in Phoenix

No its a great tool. Just not good compared to 1200psi tool especially made for tile and other hard surfaces. 360i excel with portables. You can prescrub with a CRB and use a tile head with the 360i and will have great results. Turbo Hybrid just makes the process that much quicker. Hard to beat. Also, the 360i, is great with TM as well. 360i does not do well on GDC, as the bumps make the unit bounce.

What is the point of the turbo hybrid? Mine doesnt have good recovery compared to a carpet wand with a glide and i have more control with a carpet wand and theres less damage to the floor in general. I feel like the turbo hybrid damages things and leaves scratches ive never had a good experience with one and i feel like a carpet wand does just as good of job especially with crb agitation idk.

Is part of the dramatic difference because the rotovac leaves some of the dirty water behind whilst the Turbo Hybrid sucks up almost all the standing water?
@carpetcleaningprofessor2 күн бұрын
No, not in the least The vac just uses agitation But it does recover the majority of the water. There’s just not enough head pressure for the bristles to do a thorough job and the directional force of its jets just cannot match what a turbo hydrated can. I don’t think it’s a bad tool, but I think higher pressure is there better option for cleaning tile and grout and that is the best tool on the market for doing it the th40

Exactly they have all those gimmicky floor cleaning heads that cost$500 that don't work thanks for comment
@turbo-seal1894 жыл бұрын
@@carpetcleaningprofessor there's nothing gimmicky about an Innovative approach to solving various floor cleaning problems we encounter. An example would be the Teflon Glide head with bristles. I have always been an anti brush person in all my 35 years cleaning carpet I never appreciated doing two steps in order to clean carpet so was very resistant 2 using this Teflon brush head available on the 360 machines but after trying one I could not believe some of the benefits it brought two light. One being less potential damage to tile edges that were next to carpet I was cleaning adjust line could not scratch or damage wood or hard surfaces like the metal Glides could. Also a very odd benefit to having the suit Glides was nearly 50% faster dry time over the metal swoop Glide head. I tested this many times and cross tested to see if I was correct and the test always came out Superior with the newer head. As for tile agitation with a separate scrub machine or crb it's not needed on tile floors if a rotary that delivers water and suction at the same time was used the tile Head On rotovac Tools allows the agitation without switching equipment. And that saves time. We have to remember this is not ideal for large commercial work as stripping and waxing VCT is not my thing nor is it many carpet cleaners out there who focus on residential mostly for their income.

Thank you for sharing I appreciate your viewpoint. I like the 360i for cleaning carpet I just don't find it be of an effective tool for cleaning tile or other floors. Back we had both are T-Rex Junior and a rotovac 360i out today. Just because you like something more than the other doesn't mean that the other one is terrible and should be thrown in the dumpster lol 😂 For tile work hands down the turbo hybrid 40 is just a better tool but if you don't have high pressure the 360 I Will do you just fine. Also in your videos you use pressure-based tools lol 😂 A winner is a it's okay
