I bought this yesterday. It’s one thing I’ll not regret a thing about spending so much on. This has gotta be the number one imo from the perfumes that I’ve discovered. If I had to describe the smell I’d say this takes me to a luxury wooden cottage in the deep woods kinda atmosphere. The smell instantly feels so rich. The smell just keeps getting better over time. I used a YSL Electrique before this and I can honestly say that the smell of terrae essence lasts a whole day. No cap. It’s worth it and the smell is amazing it reduces my anxiety too.

Props to Bvlgari for taking a chance on this one. The Aqva Amara of the "Man" line. Wood Essence was a generic disappointment for me, so it's cool that they took Terrae Essence in a more daring direction.

Agree! It's definitely different from the rest from Bvlgari 😊 These kind of scents are usually not the kind that I enjoy the most.. But Bvlgari Man Terrae Essence is actually something I kinda like.. It's well-made and quite cool and I'm guessing that if someone like me enjoy it, then someone who usually enjoys this kind of scent will LOVE IT 😊 The master himself Alberto Morillas is behind the scent, so no surprise it's a good one 😉

Its unique one , i got it as 15 ml miniature. Its good for outdoor or party.not recommend for office wear. Must try one.

I had a similar reaction to you at first but after a couple of tries, I enjoy it a little bit more (the earthy note put me off at first). I agree that the dry down is nicer. I'm glad I got a sample rather then a full bottle 😄

Yeah! It's definitely not a fragrance for everyone. And it's not "my usual kind" of fragrance, but it grew on me and I enjoy it much more now than when I tried it for the first time. It's actually quite an interesting and well-made fragrance.. But I am most likely not going to a buy a 2nd bottle of it 😊 This is definitely one to get a sample first or go to the store to try out before buying. Not a safe for most people 😊

Is it similar to Terre D'Hermes EDT?

To my nose: no. To some noses there might be some similarities but this to my nose it a different scent that gives me an entirely different vibe. I never been the biggest fan of Terre Dhermes (it's not bad in any way) but this one is different and something I enjoy more than the Hermes one. 😊 Please do let me know if you feel they are the same if you end up trying it 😊

In my opinion, this is a true "Rebel" fragrance. But Alberto Morillas did a masterful job with this composition. Delicate balance between Earthy and Citrus throughout the life of the fragrance. My wife actually loves this one on me. She believes men should smell spicy and rough, which this is.

Hi! Thanks for sharing! bvlgari man terrae essence is a well-made scent (like pretty much everything A.M creates) and I do feel there's something unique about it, especially the dry down of it. It's got something I really like, but there's something that holds it from being a "love" for me. Been some time since I've worn it though! Need to do that again soon and see how I feel about it 😊

Tested it on a department store twice and I did not like it at all. Not sure where Bulgari was going with that, it does not smell pleasant at all. The closest I could link it to is Dior Farenheit, which I also do not like. I was hoping for a Aqua Amara replacement (which I love) but it is nothing like that. My reaction was to wash it out of my skin as soon as possible. Definitively try before you buy!

I didn't get much citrus or appreciate much progression (on my first and only try), but I didn't sample it under the best conditions - in a busy shopping mall with people everywhere. To me it's definitely earthy, but not in a 'green' or sharp way. I would describe is as nutty, chocolaty, sweet but not cloying (reminds me a bit of hazelnut). It seems to have an excellent longevity and decent projection, I caught plenty of wafts even under the mask for a good long time, and the dry-down persists faintly but noticeably even more than 12 hours later. First impressions: excellent fragrance, if you want something different from the standard 'blue' scent, good quality and to me unique. I don't get any similarity to Gucci Guilty Absolute at all (no patchouli here), nor do I get petrol, leather, or tobacco smells. Since it is quite _different_ you shouldn't buy it blind, even though I would describe it as quite a 'cozy', rather than polarizing scent.

Thanks for sharing! I do NOT get any similarities to Gucci Guilty absolute.. Not sure why they would be the same 😆 GG Absolute is full on beast mode in a whole other direction.. It's definitely different though and performance quite good for this kind of scent! 😊

@@rottenrebels That was one of the things that stood out for me with TE, I find it quite beastly. GG Absolute on the other hand doesn't tend to hang around as long as you might expect at first. That could well be down to the amount sprayed though - I just checked GG's atomiser and it seems to kick out less juice per shot than the Bvlgari. Three or four sprays in the shop (gotta _really_ make sure in testing!) might equal eight or nine with the Gucci, which is so strong initially I don't think I'd dare! I don't get a wet earth kind of smell. Just smells sort of earthy. Not a "earthy scent" connoisseur though since I usually don't prefer too earthy or green scents (like I mentioned in the video 😊)

Mmm can't do it. This one was absolutely gross for me. Smelled like rancid leather and rubber and diesel. Dries down into like a weird cannabis seed scent and petting zoo and burning plastic.
