Rotterdam port community sounded their ship's horn

Wednesday 8 April 2020, the Rotterdam port community unified its power. At noon, they sounded cohesively their ship's horn for 30 seconds to hearten everyone in the region during the current Covid pandemic. View the great video of Peter Verhage Eyecatcher, de filmmakers (sound on).
In this way, the port community expressed that its thoughts are with people in this difficult time; whether they are in home isolation, in the hospital - or work at risk for its own life or people who suddenly see their income drastically decrease or even drop to zero.
The port community showed that they are still going strong together and are doing their utmost to keep the port operations running under safe working circumstances.
We take pride that many companies in the port have responded to this call. Many thanks to all who are involved.
