Και στο Σημίτη άρεσε το τραγούδι και γενικότερα όλο το άλμπουμ. Τόσο, που μια φορά είχε πει νευριασμένος λόγω των αρνητικών κριτικών που δεχόταν το Khronos στην τηλεόραση σε κάτι άλλους πολιτικούς ότι "Μας έλεγαν για χρόνια για μακέτες, όλα τα έργα είναι μακέτες... Είναι μακέτο τούτο το έργο;!" Μπράβο Σημίτη και με το παραπάνω.

Over 20+ years ago, KHRONOS was the first album that I heard from Rotting Christ. I would listen to it on constant repeat, and it was a permanently installed disc in my 3 disc cd changer stereo for a long time. Thanxz to RC for those beautifully dark and nostalgic times.

"Khronos" and "Sleep of the angels" are one of the most underrated pieces of dark arts. After so many years of listening of tones of dark music of any kind (gothic metal, black, gothic rock, post punk, dark wave, experimental ambient etc.) I haven't still heard anything like that.

@@Trophonius Sleep of the angels is not underrated i'd say. "Sanctus Diavolos" is forgotten by the band, no songs from that album played live since 2015

​@@liesofelias I prefer the older stuff but i like some elements in their newer - after albums: some Greek or ancient Greek lyrics, inspiration from Greek myths or other mythologies etc. also some minimal Doric approach on synthesis. The idea is good, in the right direction. The implementation of the idea I think, just could be better on many songs and many ways. Anyway it's a matter of taste... after all. "Sleep of the angels" and that era it is very underrated not only in live shows (I don't mean only that) but by many modern and not only metal fans (obviously it doesn't sound "enough heavy" and it is too "gothic" and psychedelic to their ears. One can see the reviews on this album by metal magazines etc. They understimated it very much, because it has a different approach from the "classical metal one" and the more "brutal-death" metal approach that metal tooked the last 10-15 years. But for me, this is their best era. But as I said some newer stuff I like too. The idea, not so much the implementation. With few exceptions)
