I see it the same way. Most people don't even know what they're missing out on with real good metal music. Rotting Christ does something that completely excites me. A lot of bands can learn a lesson from that. I like this kind of music more than anything. Retro bull ferom Germany.

Most people don't even know how good this band is. They still know the band themselves. But I only became aware of the band after the PS game Mortal Shell. Now I almost have albums from the band. I don't listen to anything other than Rotting Christ :) NG from Retrobulle from Germany.

@@UndeadAbomination Ohh, indeed,Theogonia is my favorite album, but this one is a fast, kind of technical song, not very common in Rotting Christ's music. I love Phobos Synagoge, Threnody, Enuma Elish and Gaia Tellus most of all.

@@WrapSayHeSmack Where dramtamtukutu is right is the case that after this album they sort of started eating their own tail. THeogonia might be regarded as their peak achievement as a band, for both the atmosphere and musicality/production. It's undeniable that each previous album (and this one) had it's unique atmosphere and sound. Later on it ceased to be so tangible, sans the strange female vocals, be it Diamanda or the strange folkish choirs. HERE though it's not like copying older stuff, rather expressing some familiar emotions through more modern means (in the context of this band's history).
