Jimmy has known Drew for years, since Fever Pitch if not before in his SNL days. Drew and Jimmy's wife Nancy are bffs. They have a production company together too. He has said multiple times that Drew is family to him. I don't think they have sexual tension I just think they are comfortable with each other. It's kinda like the difference between how you act at work and how you act around your family.
