I'm surprised rouge never considered the prospect of moving to angel island. That way knuckles can have his master emerald save where it needs to be, Rouge can be with the master emerald and knuckles anytime she wants, and with the proper coaxing, knuckles could make an ideal treasure hunting partner leaving angel island the perfect base for all of her favorite jewels.
