I’m no diagnostic specialist myself but it would make sense that the engine isn’t getting enough gas from somewhere and then throwing other codes in relation to where other voltages are from the sensors because throttle voltage is higher than it should be for the rpm level being weak and the air temp being wrong from improper air not being used by the engine I don’t know if that made sense but hope it did

You would be correct. I did a part two and even though I didn't show it I did a fuel pressure test and the needle went up and then fell hard to zero. So what took out what. Moral of the story... this truck has a lot of problems that need to be addressed to make it a solid runner.

When I see multiple codes I start by cleaning the battery terminals. If ground straps aren't hooked up i would use a jumper cable to go further. The components rarely fail in batches. Only twice have I gotten all the way to a bad ECM. Cleaning battery terminals fixes almost half I have done.

Yeah Justin I’m going through it now lol only thing is is that if you stomp it down she’s got plenty of power but during a pull or hill it’s losing almost all power so I changed the plugs and still not running perfect in fact I think it’s worse lol anyway !! Help

How come you didn't test the injector resistance while it was disconnected and compare it to cylinder that not misfiring. Thats a quick thing to do. I would just connected the grounds if there disconnected. I once had my sisters car not run cause a bolt that connected the ground to the transmission wasn't tighten down.

I ran into the same issue with a ford truck and had to condemn the whole top half and timing chain systems too...they used a u3d rebuilt motor and used all the old parts to rebuild 8t too...customer took rebiulder to court and won too.

I would lean towards cylinder contribution test, and if any were low, proceed with leak down testing

Also, pin hole in the fuel rail??? Hard start after sitting over night? Just ideas.

4.7 has a tsb about hydraulic lifters collapsing. May not be the culprit in this situation but it happened twice in one week to me.

It's just a process of elimination you're going about it correctly the only advice I would be able to give you would be and ways to be more efficient about testing components. For my own Amusement I just checked into system1. There is a flow chart available. It's lab scope time.

See if the rpms hang up at 1200 on the way down from a snap test. (Mash the gas and watch it fall) If so, replace maf...i think that v.c. leak that showed up on the smog test should be addressed most definitely... id look at what the o2 sensors are reading if you think injectors are a problem.

Love you videos bro keep them up my question is I have a po303 misfire in cylinder 3 for a 2003 Dodge Dakota 4.7 I change the plugs brand new plugs and the coil I swap coil from 3 to next one over just to see if you can give me a different code and I never did so I know the coil is good then right and it's still at a rough idle

High resistance fault- ground side. That type of fault will cause computers to lie to a scanner.

ECM's hardly ever are bad.. a Test Light is your best buddy

First you start by repairing the grounds. Second, new plugs. Then start testing coils, IAT, TPS, etc. Also, test the cam sensor. Mine went class a stupid about 2 years ago, turned out to be the cam sensor. No codes other than p0306 and 7

i would clean the thbody and get rid of all vacum leaks . the IAT is a easy thermistor circuit i would confirm circuit integrity with the scanner danner method..

U most likely have a rubbed harness somewhere effecting t body and those injectors. Unlikely pcm has 2 failed injector drivers and t body
