I love to hate it. Often said it is what is missing from our Canadian Corporate broadcasters. We used to have good ol’ fashioned bias in the 80’ and 90’s. Now our games are sadly like elevator music commentaries.

I, for instance, personally get so fed up with their nonchalant, sanitized post-game recaps while driving home from an ugly or lazy loss that I'm asking, "where's the insightful, intrinsic criticism that's needed here?!"

Brandon F, I always try to be honest. Perhaps we are speaking on different levels to the same point? All I am saying, honestly, is I miss when the announcers ie, play by play and the the colour commentator would at least concede the ref’s made a bad call. I know not where you watch your hockey but here it is positivity to the outcome ad nauseam. Equality of outcome.
