ALL of us can face hard times, even spiritual teachers. How do we navigate the challenges when we're already deeply spiritual? Author, shamanic teacher, and NDE experiencer, Sandra Ingerman, joins me for an outstanding conversation this Sunday. Suzanne I Love your show, Love your Intentions! Your Heart! Thank you SOO much for answering your Call! In my Experience, in my memories of trauma in my childhood, disassociation was Emotionally disconnecting. I was Physically there, often Mentally aware, but NOT involved emotionally. I was simply Watching what was going on. Yes, there were times when I was Very young I, my Being, was on the other side of the room watching. Something I have not been aware of doing since then unless in dreams. For ME disassociating I Knew what was happening - It was like being in shock. Aware, nothing affecting me. Fun part was that I developed little pieces of personality that would absorb that experience - and disappear inside. The pain was fine bc the part took the pain. Did NOT know what had happened, did NOT understand Life, people etc, until mid forties when it began to seep out into my awareness. At 77 I have come so much closer to the Who that I am. So Very grateful for … actually, ALL of my life experiences! Having gone thru the grinder as a child, THIS is (very appreciated) Heaven!

Suzanne and Sandra, I am being led into shamanism, am chanting numerous voices, and messages come in my right eye and left ear. My left foot begins to tap and I know my Ether Sisters are ready to chant. I was a Fundamentalist Christian who would have thought ill of all this before 2020. Am retired RN, Reiki, and healer. Funnily I have just read one of Sandra’s books 😂😂😂😂 I had an NDE whilst giving birth. I wasn’t scared but I remember saying I’m not coming I have babies. The one who I was birthing and one not even two. I came back from the ceiling with a bang screaming for my husband who despite the awful birth was allowed to stay. The doc put the baby on my chest, hubby said say thank you and I’m there thinking what the heck was that? I was 24 and it took years to unravel.

I was in the sweatlodge when California Native medicine man Charlie Thom announced that the morning sun had hit Sandy Ingerman and that she was to be a medicine woman. And he said she was to pack a stone (i pictured a pretty big one, smaller than a bowling ball). She was already an MFCC. This was about 43 years ago? Sandra, I thought I had some challenging experiences and initiations but WOW. You've been through it! I only knew about your work with Michael Horner plus I read one of your books. You seem to be a great resource having walked the path as a true shamanic pioneer. This interview is right on time and helpful.
