Rough With The Smooth | Shore Fishing West Wales North Pembrokeshire (A Hard Day)

A very hard days fishing on the North Pembrokeshire coastline, I tried all sorts of tactics such as jigging for mackerel and pollock, worm ledge ring for wrasse and fish baits for bull huss. Lots of effort for little rewards but that’s why it’s called fishing, a lovely relaxed session…fresh sea breeze and sunshine.

Fished that mark a couple weeks ago, we had about 40 doggie’s between 3 of us. I packed my gear up at high water cz i just couldn’t handle catching them anymore 😂

Unlucky Tom fishings been tough up this way for the last few weeks, used to love that mark but last couple of times found it full of line snags and braid

Wasn’t too bad with the snags to be fair, didn’t lose any kit at all. Did pull for a break once or twice but it pulled out the snag, thinks it’s very thick kelp down there

That's what happens when everyone posts video's of mark's and says exactly where they are. Rubbish and snags soon ruin them

@@fishtales9688 last time I fished had a few rigs cut when pulling for a break and eventually pulled in a load of break and a few rigs

@@sharkhunter5243 that’s probably one of the most well known marks in Pembrokeshire and I’m pretty sure the wrasse fishing is poor there because it gets fished so much, snags are because of people not using the right gear for fishing rough ground

Very mate, conditions spot on just one of those days, just goes to show the fish aren’t always there
