I was 4 when this song came out and, obviously, did not know it back then. It still bums me that they don't play this song live any more. I totally understand that playing a song that you wrote when you were 14 is kinda weird, but this is still their best song to date. Especially the album version. There is something so magical about the instrumentals that I absolutely love

How gorgeous is this man? It's a blast from the past to hear this song again after so many years and I remember it inspired me to write a lyric that I have to look up now, but watching this video I'd forgotten how beautiful he is. Been listening since "The Runaway Found" released 15 years ago (I think?). This band has taken me on one of the greatest rides of my life. I loved watching them evolve and change their sound album to album. I'm just reminiscing in preparation for "Total Depravity", which should be releasing tomorrow. Honestly one of the most underground and unique folk bands out there, with 4 albums and an ep under their belt. What a thrill it has been to hear their sound change over the years... If you are new to this band, I really urge you to check out their other stuff. Can't wait for the new album! Hope it is just as ambitious as the singles are!

***** In my opinion you shouldn't really start with their newest release. Their albums get heavier and have a sort of saddening progression to them, so I would suggest starting from their first album and making your way to Total Depravity.

I liked The Veils way before I even knew who Placebo were, but now, being a huge fan of both, I can totally see how people think this song sounds a bit like Molko's voice, it totally does- the nasally, higher pitched thing. And I mean that in a good way, both bands are incredible.
