Think it was Hole 13 thursday when he practiced for himself. He made a great video explaining his game plan and the course. Went looking for a disc he threw in the water that day and another one the day before- found them both with water to his knees!

What a course. Gorgeous natural beauty, manicured phenomenally, and such an entertaining design that still is plenty challenging too. Love Esa-Pekka Tupala's commentary on DGN. Ricky played out of his mind today. Specifically on the back 9. What a treat to watch. And James Proctor with some of the sickest highlights on 8, 17, and 18 to keep himself in it. Fire lead card tomorrow too.

@@adamwohlin8339 -13 under par on Krokhol is really really mind blowing. I don't think we'll see anyone beat or copy -13 again on this course for a long time. Maybe a hot round on -11 and -12 would be extremely impressive. But I think -13 is pretty much untouchable. (If I'm wrong, I'm going to be terrified and confused.) Ricky did something really really special on the first round that will be remembered for years to come for everyone playing that course on a regular basis. He made it look easy, he was flawless.

Holy crap, this course separates the boys from the men. Im a pretty high ranked AM and I think I'd shoot +20 out here, you have to have so much control, death putts galore, elevation changes basically every hole. Ricky just shot one of the best rounds of his life I think, so impressive.

Eagle last won a major/tour event in 2022 and hasn't really been in contention much since then. McBeth last won a major/tour event 363 days ago and he hasn't really been a threat to win any tour event since then. I'm glad they shot well today and I'd like to see them regain their form but they really haven't been relevant on the leader boards this season. In 2020 I could see this as a legit complaint. Maybe you haven't been paying attention in 2024.

@edithkramer7689 Last I checked they were both recovering from an injury. They are still two of the most recognizable names in disc golf. You could say that this is the first time both of them have thrown well in the past year and yet no one saw a single shot

@TMillaT well the tournament is in Europe and all of the players are in Europe and the tournament is part of the European tour and the announcers are European. If you want to experience European disc golf you need to at least try to understand basic European measurement units.
