Anyone else hate how doss terry and sexton look with their hands folded head’s slightly tilted with very straight faces/tiniest of smiles. It just is unsettling. Hold a mug or something. The hand folding is just unsettling for whatever reason

It would be nice if whoever does audio will find the ability to synchronize all the camera peoples’ audio. The different levels is obvious then on top of this when the commercials come up at excessive decibels over current audio seems to be overlooked when editing these videos. Going on years with poor audio editing in disc golf.

DGN really poor coverage and crappy camera work. how do you name yourselves a network when the coverge is so spotty and poor. You have as many commercials as the standard networks so i suppose the name works for you.

@@donkarnage6032 Climo was competing against truck drivers and accountants. There were only like 5-10 full time pros when he was winning tournaments. Climo is a legend in the game, but he's like Wilt in the NBA.. it was a different era when he competed

@@ps3nickolia12 a) It was a joke. So relax b) The era's argument is not always a good one. Especially when you pick Wilt who was insanely athletic and would be successful in any era of NBA. Wilt was 7ft1in with a reported 48inch vertical. Teams would be beating down his door. Especially now that the NBA is more focused on athleticism than traditional basketball skills.

Its insane yall charge people for this often 480p blurry garbage and then force us to watch commercials between every other hole. No one cares about live coverage on a Thursday morning. Delay it to allow everything to render at 1080p. DGPT has set back disc golf coverage by a decade

Just to clarify. The blurryness is not from rendering, "bad cameras" or what ever people think. They are sending a LIVE video feed straight from the cameras (that are in the middle of a forest) to their control center using normal mobile networks (it's the only way unless you invest milllions to a different kind of live broadcast technology). It's quite impossible to send a pristine 1080p live video feed using mobile networks to start with, so the video quality at it's best is already softer, but when the mobile reception is bad, like it is in many places in the forest, then the picture gets more blurry. So it's the bad mobile networks that are the problem. There isn't that much DGN/DGPT can do to make the reception better and they can't "unblurry" the blurry live video feed afterwards that they have received from the cameras. That is why their highlight videos have the same softer/blurry video quality also (JomezPro has the original camera footage and people can watch that afterwards on their channel). This is a channel for LIVE Disc Golf broadcast, that is why it's broadcasted LIVE and not delayed. I do understand your frustration, but to me, when I know the limitations that they are working with, I actually don't have a problem with the quality, but I do think there are way too many adds (but I can live with that also, they need the money to pay their staff etc.). They are doing their best with what they have and I'm sure they are working on improvements all the time (they have already improved in many ways since they started). Without DGPT/DGN there wouldn't be this professional Disc Golf tour and no Live Disc Golf... They are not perfect but they are not "the worst" either. BTW it's not morning everywhere when they broadcast this live. It's late evening/night in Europe. I hope this helps. If not, I hope you have a nice day nevertheless.

@@markush1122 I think youre wrong on every point. They could have this 3 hr whole event "live" reaction, cover multiple cards, jump from good shot to good shot style and still delay posting it till its rendered properly like Jomez videos. That would be a different style but still high quality. You could have the camera guys give their SD cards to a low paid runner who takes it to production every 30 mins so coverage would only be delayed by an hour including render time. The crew could do the audio off the live feed and sync it in post, so the coverage is still "live" reactions, then render the video and post it. That is live enough for disc golf on the internet. This isnt and will never be live TV. I am 100% certain that there are far more people who would watch that than people who want to see it live in 480p. And it would still come out before Jomez because they are doing the live coverage, unlike Jomez which is post coverage. Honestly I should be paid for such a genius systems management idea.

@@maddmarmot I wasn't "trying to be right". I just offered the facts why the picture is softer and sometimes even blurry, and also what DGN is and what it isn't. What you wrote about is a totally different product than what DGN is trying to offer. Maybe it could be possible, but then it wouldn't be live disc golf anymore, and for that there are different channels (well, one fulltime channel left covering these events). I have no problem with your thoughts about how it should be done in your opinion, but as I said, at that point it's not live broadcasting anymore and that is what DGN is all about.
