Good looking feed. I'd call that cow candy too! Bet the cows will like it come winter.

I like the smaller bales for feeding. little less waste it seems. would be neat to see a feed analysis of these bales. maybe a guy feeds a straw bale in a ring when feeding these wet bales? slow it down in there gut a little so its not green juice out the backend. lol did the peas make pods? do peas make a high oil seed like soybeans do? definitely worth analysis for that. lot of people like peas maybe I need to try some next year?!

Don't forget to put some bait down near the bales. Vermin will love them. That's bound to be beautiful feed man. I'd love some. How do you find the roll belt for silage? What moisture are the bales you reckon?

You were wrapping the bales right.. How did that work out with those large bales?

We used peas as a cover crop on our farm.high protein hay

I think the Sloppy Bales is due to the Vhinny Nature of the Peas. Not a lot of Rigidity to The Peas.

Oats are always bulky to work with. Even if you chop them and try to get a solid packing. But I'm sure every thing will be just fine for you.

Agree got away on us a few times (moisture) even cut early, ( flag leaf stage ). If it wasn’t for being put in a Harvetore and second crop alfalfa on top immediately, it would have been a problem feed. The hollow stems just don’t pack when they dry out/mature. ( dairy feed)

Next time try to drill in Teff grass.. You have no idea how it add condition to the cattle in winter..
