Best character guide. I wish more people highlighted the basics so that newer players aren't bogged down by 20 things.

Tekken King Claudio here, excellent video.

Actually great guide. This format also suits a simple character like Claudio really well since he mostly plays around a handful of keymoves. I especially like how you emphasize how his moves can be countered, and so what should be done against opponents who know how to counter him. This is really nice for starting out a character and you just wanna know the basics to get started quickly.

goddamn if there is an oscar for wellmade tekken 8 guides, this needs to sweep. the pacing, the quality of info, the efficiency. hooooly what's the song?

@@anansi6344 Thanks! Music is Slushy Road, from KOFXV. I'll usually leave music titles in the top corner towards the start of the vid

I don't really have any interest in playing Claudio but just engaging as this is the content that new players actually need. An excellent format that talks about key moves, their counters, and how you can add layers to your game to be able to not have your key moves get countered.

Yeah, I already know the character pretty well and I watched for the same reason.

The most efficient and valuable 9 minute video I’ve watched. Subscribed and liked this is exactly what I was looking for the dive into a new character. Excited for Round 2 Claudio Guide ( if that’s what you mean by “ Round 1 “ )

Only thing i would add is that the wr2 frame trap mix isn't complete without throwing on block. The throw encourages ducking or mashing if the wr2 is blocked creating a true mix

for hopkick is it uf4 ,or just u4 cuz simply pressing u4 does the hopkick so whats the point of inputing uf4 ?
@Erisgauq27 күн бұрын
@@mohammadosman1474 its really personal preference, and there are other moves that use any up input to register just one move like devil jin's ub1/u1/uf1, but I'll likely refer to how it shows up on the move list, or what I personally input it as. In the case of claudio's hopkick, most other hopkicks are uf4 so it's easier to think of it as such, i think the move list also lists it as uf4 there's a possibility the uf4 version has more range than u4, but I haven't tested that myself-- it is something i hear occasionally tho

Any tips or tricks for landing the ff4 after a launcher? Its hard for me to do
@ErisgauqАй бұрын
@@lucrative8398 i generally buffer the first forward before whatever i launched with, but besides that and just practicing, i'm not sure of any tricks myself.

I'm also super inconsistent with ff4 but there's no need if u struggle with it After hopkick or df1,2 just do b2 and then ff4 also after a conterhit df2 just do db1+2 into ff4 it's super easy and 100% consistent
@HiroyaFujimiya23 күн бұрын
@@LingXiaoyu-m5p there is also connection dependance, if you got bad connection with opponent; good luck landing ff4 after df2 or even ws2 especially. The only consistence ff4 starter combo is from hopkick, more easier to manage on all situation.
