Round Ravensburger 1K and a trip to the LOTR shire

Hello puzzle family! I am so happy to bring you this unforgettable adventure! In today's video, I'm solving a Lord of the Rings jigsaw puzzle, my second round ever! this is a Ravensburger, 1000 pieces, measuring a staggering 67.5 cm in diameter. I'll take you to the shop where I got it from and I also give you a full tour of the amazing Shire, or Hobbiton movie set village, here in New Zealand where the Lord of the rings movies where partially filmed at, This now has a Hobbit house, or ‘hole’! It’s no longer a dummy door like it used to until now and I am so fortunately to be one of the first people on the planet to visit it. so Come on in!!! *Please watch in true 4K for all the amazing details.

I also like my pieces well organized. Once I have taken out all the obvious and outstanding pieces, I organize the remainder pieces into shapes in their own trays. Thanks for tour, I would sure like to visit New Zealand and Hobbiton.

That was a fantastic trip to Frodos home. I loved it. This was quite a surprise. I love TLOTR and the Hobbit movies. The puzzle you worked on was fabulous. On the difficult side but amazing. I had so much fun watching Frodo’s’ house tour and the building of the jigsaw puzzle 😃🧩❤️

As for the Hobbit puzzle, what a superb find for only $1NZ, plus a bonus Hobbiton tour! We've recently enjoyed some of your earlier work, kudos! We know you are very proud of your body of work. That movie tour looks so freaking amazing! I would love to do that one day. And from what I could make out, that feast towards to end looked pretty darn good 😂 It can be quite frustrating when you think you got your sorting all planned out, but then as you go through the pieces you almost go blank or can't figure out how to continue with the sorting if the pieces all seem to look too similar. I also like to resort/organize my trays after awhile, especially when I'm stuck on a challenging area. Hope you had a great Christmas Ric and Happy New Year!

Hello and a super happy New Year Mandy! Officially 2024 here now so wishing you a happy new year. This is such a magical place and I highly recommend visiting if you come to Nz one day! It’s a nice activity to do for sure, particularly if you watched the movies and are a fan of Lord of the rings, but a lot of people who visit haven't watched the movies 😄 which I guess is totally fine too 😂 but indeed this was a tricky one to sort out so I went very slow with it, took me about 3 weeks of work this one, but only a few mins here and there when I was free. Ravensburger and Pomegranate are my favourite puzzle brands and what a score to find this Raven so cheap!!! Well done. Have to say that the new Hobbit House is very close to my dream home 💜 On a side note, i know in different countries, people drive on different sides of the road - i wasn't aware that in New Zealand people drive their cars backwards 🤣 (the bit of video at the recycling centre, (@ 1.13) lol. I have been to Hobbiton this year (as any typical tourist would do 😂) and they were already discussing the new jobbit hole attraction. Not sure but I think they shut down (part of?) Hobbiton after my visit for construction purposes. Happy to have seen it through your video - one never knows if I can come to NZ again soon... Cool puzzle, also!
