Great box. I like the fastening idea but it looks like it needs to be made from a thicker card or maybe thin metal. Thanks for sharing your bag and box-making ideas; they are my favourite things to make❤❤❤

Yes absolutely, although I did layer up the card it doesn't help that its a relatively small piece of cardstock and I don't think the metallic cardstock helps as it wrinkles when you bend it and makes it seem more flimsy, if that makes sense. I do like the idea of the fastening so will see if I can come up with a more substantial solution. Thank you for the positive feedback, it is greatly appreciated.

Very enjoyable tutorial, the box is beautiful. I love the concept of the closure. I think I would make it a bit bigger for my arthritic fingers, and add more layers to strengthen it, but it is a fabulous idea. I have been making a few bags and boxes this year, my go to card is Pink Frog as it is pretty substantial for most projects. However, the colour pallette is limited which seems to be the case for most cardstock on the region of 300gsm. Im new ti your channel, but love your ideas.

Thank you, yes I think it would be great to supersize the closure and make a feature of it as I agree it is fiddly. I have heard good things about Pink Frog but havent used it myself - I tend to use a lower gsm and then build up the strength with my papers on top and using construction glue like Collall also helps. I am glad you are enjoying the projects and thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
