This week in the West of Scotland Football League:
Gartcairn fall into the relegation zone after a 15 point deduction.
St Cadocs pick up the first piece of silverware of the season after a comfortable win against Forth in the Strathclyde Demolition Cup Final.
Clydebank make it into the hat with the big guns in the Scottish after their 2-0 win against Highland League Buckie Thistle
Troon edge out the Talbot in the Premier League.
Renfrew and Thorniewood keep the promotion battle tight after wins in the First Division.
Neilston take top spot after their narrow away win to title contenders Muirkirk in the Second Division.
Thorn keep their unbeaten League run as they put 5 past bottom placed Wishaw in the Third Division.
Knightswood and Port Glasgow open the gap after both winning 4-3 in the Fourth Division.

You wrote Talbot off last season and they finished second in the league, the consistency isn’t there this season yet but definitely can’t write them off with Tucker in the dugout.

I wrote them off from winning the league last season and this season. I'm almost certain I'll be right both times. The run at the end of last season was excellent, but I can't see them finishing in the top 3 this season. It's absolutely no harm to tucker or the club. I appreciate times have changed and there's certain circumstances that make it more difficult for the Talbot, but winning 30% of your League games to this stage doesn't bode overly well

@ it would take a miracle with the new comet system for Talbot to get near winning the league this season 😱. The boys will start digging out results, probably finish around 5th. 30% win rate is very un-Talbot like, I think it is exaggerated more with other teams becoming stronger and I think that’s a good thing for the level.

@cyclingchainsawchap9822 haha you can only hope Comet helps. The quality of the league has definitely improved. Too many draws for the Talbot are the big issue
