Princess cut have 4 weak points: the edges can break if you swing your hand on a hard surface. It doesn't happen to Round cut diamonds.

@@peacelovejoyandhappiness round brilliant diamonds have a superior sparkle to them over all other diamonds shapes, the round and square will look similar in size on an ear in my opinion, I believe they both are feminine looking, round diamonds are more commonly used for stud earrings then square diamonds. Are you looking for diamond studs?
