Get an angle grinder cut a slit down it and use a flathead screwdriver to unscrew it

You can reshape Allen bolts pretty easy with a hammer if you can get to them. Either hit it on the side for cap heads or on top for counter sunk. That will close it back up and usually works if its not too tight.

HG rust treatment from Wickes or B + Q for that surface rust , and yeah grind it off or just drill it out whichevers easier eh , I think a pair for small Fords droplinks from Ebay are around £15 a pair or £20 ish...

Curved jaw vice grips around the gator to hold the ball joint and then impact gun it off. Failing that, cut a Union Jack pattern through the nut and stud with a grinder and then hammer and chisel it off.

The thing that worked for me was heat cycling it with a small gas torch.

I live in a place where they salt the roads 50+ a winter. If you dont have an impact with allen sockets youre going to have to cut those off. Luckily new links arent super expensive.

That nut looks too fucked up to use a locking plier cuz you risk deforming the nut and jam it to eternity. Weld a larger nut outside it, the heat also helps in expanding the smaller nut and breaking any seizure. Open new nut with impact driver to minimise chance of breaking bolt.
