@dcworld43493 жыл бұрын
@@keithmason1485 It's also why the mechanic is the one who should go bust first if there is only 5 or 6 player, yes sometimes you might end up playing for an hour or two, but on average the room kinda goes quiet since the loud mouth left. You will likely play 7 more hands, one of the people at the table will say "shall we call it after one or two more hands" and that's it. However if you are 7 players or more it's better to bust out two players on one big hand towards the end of the night. And if you have already earned enough for the night it's actually best to give one of the nights biggest pots to the person that has seen the least amount of action having neither won nor lost enough so that they can still bust out some people. Making it look like it was an exciting night where the money spread and didn't just go one way. Just make sure you never do something stupid like they do towards the end of the movie where they try to crack a multi table because Worm got bored. I also think that way of treaing the game is really a young mans game, if you are still pulling that shit after college you better have made sure your good enough to even fool other mechanics without any stick out or sound.

It's when you and you opponent "run out" the deck/community cards and cease betting against each other for the duration of the hand. This would apply to fixed-limit games. Unlike in no-limit where I can bet any amount I want when I know I have the best possible hand, in limit poker I can only raise in predetermined increments. We Seth Meyers, Jimmy Kimmel, and Stephen Colbert all went to Northwestern too! Anyway there are many actors who had extremely wealthy parents. Sigh! The world seems massively unfair at times! Jealousy is an ugly trait. It’s not his fault the family he was born into was wealthy, anymore than it’s the gazelle’s fault that it’s baby gets eaten by a lion. His family made many good decisions in life, which set up future success for future generations. Why hate on it? That’s capitalism. If you hate it so much move to communist China, where everyone is “equal”. Don’t be hateful due to jealousy, though, that’s the worse. If your parents were wealthy and wanted the best schools and clothes and cars for you, I am sure you wouldn’t say no.

The only thing I hate about this movie is real card players are all about etiquette and playing by the book. Ppl don’t cheat and play dishonest lol that’s a good way to get killed.

I agree but in Worm's twisted logic these guys were nothing but marks. He wouldn't have pulled that slick bullshit at a table with real card players. Hell, he got caught by a bunch of low rent municipal workers later in the movie.

Because they're kind of scumbags and it fits the world of the movie pretty well.

This scene is so unrealistic lol. I remember watching this as a kid. U got like 5 guys all in their 20s possibly 30s who are flawless good looking with a full head of hair Hahaha Hahaha. In reality that would never happen. It would be ur typical belly drinking American average dude. Lol what did they pick out 5 guys who can model or Something? Lol

tf are you talking about? I could understand if it was a small stakes game in a seedy casino but it'a a private game with some rich kids as it was explained by Worm. The unrealistic things in this movie are the ampunts of cash used to buy-in/bet vs. the stakes, lioe.the story Damon tells about playing against Chan.

Jesus is King. Put your trust in Him, establish a personal relationship with Him, forsake your sins and seek His forgiveness. For His yoke is light and He provides peace even in the worst situations. This life will never satisfy you, material items cannot keep you happy, but Gods love will give you meaning. God bless you and be safe.
