@@username-tv6uw I mean bro it's easy to say that as a westerner where we've killed most of our predators generations ago. Man eating bear attacks used to be pretty common in California in the 1800's and we eventually killed them all and pushed them further and further north. I feel what you're saying though, these are precious creatures and must be protected. We'll have to think of strategies that keep both man and tiger safe

Sundarbans is an amazing place. I read stories in my childhood and it was always festinating. Later I read a book called "Man-eaters of Sunderbans" by Tahawar Ali Khan who was a brave hunter and spent may years in exploring Sundarbans, witnessed and investigated stories of man-eating tigers, and tremendously recorded his experiences in this book published in 1961. He was a local hunter and his stories are truly remarkable. Anyone interested in the Sundarbans must read this book as I found it the best account on this amazing landscape. Thanks!!!

Wow it is a sundarban tiger. When I was young boy I’d watch literally at the edge of the sofa, haha, as they talked about wild tigers of India. My mom told tigers lived in Russia too, like in the snow and ice and I was in complete disbelief. She was right. I know they eat people but in the United States it as understanding like.. “why would someone be in the forest with a bear?” This is a very cool video. Thank you for sharing and thank you for having tigers living wild.

Anil Mistry wants a comfortable living and name that’s why. Man predator interaction must be controlled, because both must live. All do not have the coziness of an office job. The mainland tigers were extensively hunted in medieval times and the fear is imprinted in their genes, so they do not see man as prey. Whereas the Sundarbans tiger has never been hunted and therefore sees man as its rightful prey and actively hunts it down. Only a fool or biased person will say the tiger attacks only when frightened. There is enough research to the contrary regarding Bengal tiger.

That hardly gives the people any right or justification to attack the tigers either, which they generally do, even when the tiger means no threat. Even to the point of killing it and taking pleasure in that. It is a question of finance and livelihood. Neither the people want to lurk in the forest for recreation, nor the tiger would get the way of the mans' life rather get the chance to attack people if the balance of ecology is maintained. The govt. needs to work on the economic condition of the inhabitants of Sundarbans and at least try to amend the man made atrocities done the the forest in order to preserve the meagre portion of it that still remains. So, that they don't need to frequent in the forest any more. We mustn't forget that we've destroyed the tigers' home to a greater extent and not the other way round. Both the necessities of human and its surrounding nature must be taken care of, or there will be more clashes like this in future.

To all those complaining about the human inhabitants destroying the ecosystem sundarban, please give them life in your own city. Even the partition of Bangladesh from India is responsible, where they have already occupied 70% of the region.

No difference Sunderbans are huge and agressivse. Many people have wrong misconception. Look at this male tiger, Does it look any smaller? It is a huge young male Bengal tiger and will grow even more possible more than a mainland royal Bengal tiger

@@chasingperfection9375 please read full report However recent observations of various tigers over the last few years have cast doubt over this theory. Tigers which have been found and photographed are as big (if not bigger) as those found in the mainland of India. Where did these tigers come from? So definitely detailed study and research is required before any conclusion is drawn around this . Currently as we speak, tiger census is being carried out across the country and we sincerely believe if these images are carefully studied (given the large number of such images) , we can come to some conclusion regarding the size of the Sunderbans tigers. See what full report says and what the recent findings say busting the myth of Sunderbans tiger being smaller www.google.com/amp/s/tigertalesofindia.blog/2017/08/28/comparative-study-of-sundarban-tiger-and-other-bengal-tigers-of-india/amp/
