Rounding up 12 days solo motorcycle camping trip in NORWAY [S3 - E10]

July 12th and 13th, 2022 - This episode rounds up the two last pretty short days of my motorcycle camping trip in Norway. It ends just like it started, in the pouring rain! I ride over Gaustatoppen and Suleskard on my way home to Stavanger.

I'm really torn: I know riding in the rain is not exactly a party for you. On the other hand, for me, watching you ride through the Norwegian terrain in the rain is heavenly. One part of me wishes you many sunny rides to come. The selfish part of me can't wait until your next rainy ride!

Bonjour Runa, je viens de découvrir ta chaine en cherchant des road trip en Norvège sur youtube. Merci pour ce merveilleux voyage qui m'a rappelé de jolis souvenirs. J'étais à Stavanger en aout 1989 (tu n'étais pas née😊). Je suis venu de Toulouse(FR) avec une Honda 750VFR invité par un ami qui travaillait sur plateforme pétrolière. On a fait un superbe road trip de 15 jours jusqu'aux Lofoten en passant par les plus merveilleux sites de Norvège. J'ai encore le "certificat" de visite du Preikestolen que l'on venait chercher dans une maison en bois blanche pas loin du port. Je reviens dans ton pays en juin 2025 pour fêter ma retraite😅 et cette fois, je compte aller jusqu'au Cap Nord avec ma Ducati Multistrada 1260s. Je vais maintenant regarder tes autres séries. A bientôt.

Right at the beginning of the video I saw a Passer domesticus. I had no idea that this species had such a large distribution. I went to see the distribution of the species... throughout Europe, except in Italy, who knows why? In addition to the landscapes that I love, I also pay attention to the birds in your videos (birdwatcher stuff). Excellent video. Thanks for sharing and congratulations for making videos that keep me glued to my computer monitor.

I was being very cautious at the first minute waiting for a loud announcement. 😁 At least you are enjoyable to watch eat. 🤭 I was guessing 5 euros. WOW. Loved it. since i have been riding for the first time in norway last summer, it is very nice to see your vlogs. going throug the beautifull landscapes and shown in a nice way makes me going back now in the winter, ( armchairtraveling) , This summer was very special, from christiansund all the way up to honigsvag , zigzag through the country, inland, coastal route, lofoten, small roads , high mountainpasses, gammlestrynefjellwegen in snowcovered land. what a country and very nice to see your travels . thanks for the footage

I do love the way you differentiated between "normal" and Motorbike" people. A few of my friends would refer to me as "abnormal" !! for all the motorbike camping I do. All good trips have to end though. Was an enjoyable series. Thanks Runa.

Nice ending a great series ov videos! You might know this, but if you'd taken Garvikstrondi on the other side of Seljordsvatn, there's a nice camping there as well. Plus you could hit a gravel road (Trollebotn-Kilenvegen) down to Kilen, then Østenåvegen to Fjågesund and Fjågesundveien til Kviteseid. Nice variation to the bigger road :) Cheers & Merry Christmas!

Norway has a lot to offer while on a motorcycle. I'm used to faster bikes, and ironically enough I often like roads that naturally limit the speed so you can actually ride legally and have fun at the same time. Telemark is one of those places, but there are of course others as well, especially on the west coast.
