When I first heard of this procedure 10 years ago it was described like some Frankenstein operation and I gave up hope of ever being tall. I am 5'6" and height has always been the no.1 thing that held me back because it's the only thing that I have zero control over. After watching these amazing videos on KZbin and how transparent they are with their procedure, it's a no brainer. Once I have enough funds I am definitely going for this. Its something similar to a bald guy getting a hair transplant.
@alanissac401 Жыл бұрын
How much money did they ask you for the procedure?
@englishspacitel258 Жыл бұрын
Bro I'm also 5'6 and i don't like my height too, but is better to be short and be able to walk and run during your whole life than doing this to be on wheelchair soon as you get older. This procedure in the future will cause problems as they get older they won't be able to walk anymore. It doesn't matter if you are short or tall, in life if you are smart, got the skills/know-how and you have attitude you will achieve anything in life. It's all about intellect. A tall dude with small brain can't do and achieve shit. It's not about being tall or short it's about being wise enough to achieve everything that you want in life.

I have a feeling this surgery has been completely demonized and blown out of proportion. Most people I have met IRL immediately say that this is the epitome of plastic surgery, where they violently break your legs, and that the rehabilitation process is excruciating and horrendous, and that there's a high chance of ending up crippled for life... But then when I watch these receipts, round-table discussions and testimonials of the patients themselves, it really seems that it isn't what all the fear-mongers claim it to be. It seems like the methods and technology have advanced a lot to make this a somewhat seamless and relatively safe procedure. That's amazing! Very happy for these dudes! These guys faced their insecurities and undertook REAL solutions to make their lives better with PROFESSIONALS and understand that it has a price tag. And if the outcome makes them happier (which certainly seems to be the case according to these testimonials), then they certainly made the right choice! Keep up the work LLT💯 You guys are changing people's lives!

it started off as a last resort surgery for people with limb deformations and now its gonna become one of the most important surgeries a man can get. im not mad at the surgery cause at the end of the day the surgery is like the only trump card a short man has against nature. its just the fact that we got here that drives me nuts....... like a chin or jaw implant is one thing. a nose job is another.... but the fact we got to a point of breaking our legs and undergoing a massive recovery time and rehabilitation with considerable risks.........just for a few inches that are like magic....... and I get it it they make a difference and unfortunately the reason most men are doing it tends to lie somewhere along the lines of......their height is getting in the way of scoring a date (probably not the only thing tbh).. my only question is...... what are you gonna do when the surgery becomes mainstream and popular enough that most men save up to get it? when 6ft becomes the standard or average height women are just gonna raise their "standards" the new 6'2 becomes 7'2. but thats not possible we can only grow so much...... female logic dosent care. but like I said I don't look down upon this surgery. truly magnificent surgery and only real trump card that exists.

At this point its purely for aesthetic. Builds the insecurity, and raises the heught atandard which promotes heightism. People who are 5,7 below is more valid to take limb lengthening surgery since struggle of dating, self esteem, mby social respect. Defenitely gets worse when live in western countries. Being minority too can also make you feel like an outsider. The goal is to be normal and more desirable.

If it's as you say, it should be based on averages in each country. The global average for male height is still 3+ inches less than the average in some northern European countries. 5.9 feet will be considered short in Sweden for example.

What if limb lengthening was a ancient technique that our ancestors used to become giants and the reason Giants dont exist anymore is because the knowledge was lost due to random crusade and raids by colonizers destroying this tech. Without knowing what it was. Idk, it just blows my mind. Its like going to an orthodontist and request to straighten your teeth. You get braces. Some people call the metal braces barbaric. Guys this is not a hair transplant where a technician can do the whole procedure with medical assistants. Is the Dr. an orthopedic surgeon? Why wouldnt you do this interview with the surgeon sitting in the middle discussing the process and mental issues? Instead of the non medical guy doing the interview... no offense to him. This is hilarious to me. You got two men who were short, and finally get surgery to be as tall as average men... and then a guy who is already insanely tall just gets the same surgery to get ridiculously taller so you're once again short to him. So we end up back to square one where everyone gets this surgery and you're just the short person in the room again after life-altering surgery that will have horrible consequences down the line.
