This conversation has been so invigorating, inspiring, thought provoking. It could be a never ending conversation, exhausting for those building the rooted process, what an incredible balance you are trying to strike. This conversation provides an amazing awareness of each participant's needs, wants, special circumstances. Being aware of others in the community is so valuable. Thank you, all.

You do ask "the big questions" pricing etc. I want to know what designers would say if asked what do you want growers to grow? For each season and holiday. Is greenery always a need, what about white flowers? How do they utilize fever few? What is not readily/usually available that you would use more if available, answer for each season and holiday- Poppy pods green and dried, pussy willow, willow branches?

From the grower do you find the designers fickle? How do you keep up with that? Are the designers open to helping establish a "best group to grow" so to speak, a group of flowers that they will always buy from you? Test growing is very expensive, seeds, bulbs, time seed starting, cooler space, labor etc. You can test an entire crop and they may never buy it. Are designers florists open to buying what grows best in your region? Very open, a little, not much, not at all? Buying what grows best in each region is most sustainable.
