I actually made two of the colorways yesterday in less than an hour for the photo, so it does move quickly! Especially after you have made a few (like anything).

What size seed beads would you use if you had round trios?
@Potomacbeadco26 күн бұрын
Hello! You can definitely use RounTrios for this. You would just need to change how many 8/0s or 11/0s you use on the side of the RounTrio. In the tutorial where Allie used 2 8/0s, try it with 3 and see how that works. You may need to play around with the design a bit but it can definitely be done! Let us know how it works out! QUESTION. Are the beads you sell color fast? Or are they the sprayed on ones? In my bead group on FB, one woman soaks them in white vinegar for about 20 mins then lets them dry, not rinsing them. DO you use this on your beads so they will not fade?

I’ve never heard of doing this. Does it make much of a difference?
@Potomacbeadco2 ай бұрын
We've never heard of this practice either -- at least for beads. Vinegar does help to hold the food dyes for things like egg dying, but we've never experimented with that. There are many different coatings, and types of coatings, so it really depends upon which. We do recommend coating most beads in a protective coating like Permalac to ensure colors hold -- especially if you live in a humid climate. There are also blogs and videos on the PotomacBeads site that talk more about the types of platings on metals (as well as others with Czech beads): www.potomacbeads.com/how-to/better-beader/everything-you-need-to-know-about-bead-metals-platings.html

Would pie duos work instead of the round duos
@Potomacbeadco2 ай бұрын
Probably with some level of variation in the bead counts. Try it and see what you come up with and show us in the Facebook group!
