Route History
Route 140 is quite an old route once running from Colindale to Northolt running from Harrow Weald Garage which still runs the route today. The route transferred to London United in 1990 ending such a long service with Harrow Weald Garage however Metroline regained the route in 1999 running between Harrow Weald - Heathrow Central
The route in its current form recently changed on 7th December 2019 and was withdrawn between Heathrow Central & Hayes & Harlington Station partly replaced by Routes 278 & X140.
